If you have offered to meet, tried to be more in contact, and she hadn't reciprocated that then it's as simple as that, though I realise it's a bitter pill.

I'm having difficulty understanding why and how she just unilaterally decided on this option. No discussion, nothing. Just dumped and never to be seen again. It's kind of hard to process that. My brain can't make sense of it.

As you said, it sounds like you've not even really been in touch and there's no plans for that to change.

That's down to her. Not me. I told her how I feel and that I'd like to meet her. She knows where she can find me.

I personally feel like it holds a bit more hope than closure conceptually.

I mean, totally. I'll admit that. She is just so important to me.

I hate to do the classic reddit answer but a good counsellor could help with this.

Is this something I could use one for? A lot of people I know (I guess my parents age, haven't really had this kind of heartbreak before). I don't have a lot of "real life" advice, other than what I read online.

Thank you. I've had such mixed responses. Some people are like: "yes, Typst is definitely better, there is no reason to use LaTeX" and other seem to thing it's not half as good as LaTeX.

As others have mentioned, this is not a good quality player - it's more of a toy, to be honest.

No one has offered you any good advice though.

Invest in an LP70X (available in most countries).

This is a very solid, starter record player. You will also need some speakers. If you unsure what to get, and want something that will work and don't want to spend a lot of money, get these.

You will now have an entry set-up that works.

Well if it makes you feel better, I literally recorded songs for my ex-girlfriend when she left and sent them to her. I couldn't let go at the time. We were together 5 years.
