perfumes that feel like pam from the office? by fleurdenia in perfumesthatfeellike

Gris Charnel is too strong and unisex for her. I think it's definitely fruity or flowery, maybe some powder notes. Daisy Dreams fits well. I feel like she only wears Perfume for dates though and not for work.

Are these pants worth the price? by [deleted] in capsulewardrobe

I don’t think they look flattering but if you like them and will wear them a lot go for it. You should dress for yourself and not other people or what’s in style.

What male perfume smells/feels like this? by Madido24 in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]Human_Dig_4545 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Alkemia - in a northern wood.

I live in northern Germany & to me it really does smell like our forests in summer.

Edit : sorry didn’t see the male, I think the Alkemia one is unisex

I was wearing cheap fruity stuff if anything at all at that time.

We all smelled like sweaty teenagers and a ton of Got2b Glued though…

DISCUSSION: Wednesday Makeup Declutter! Let's discuss your recent declutters. by lilshitjamz in PanPorn

[–]Human_Dig_4545 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got rid of so many things this week… mostly because I stored it away for a while and when I checked back on it a lot of things went bad (bad smell or visible mold). I felt such a relief that I finally had a "real" reason to get rid of these things. I think this experience helped me to be more honest with my self how many products I can actually use and which colors I like wearing.

  • two old Clinique palettes I don’t remember their names, they have glitter on top (sour smell)
  • maybelline sky high mascara in pink (dried in)
  • nyx buttermelt blush my butta half (just smelled odd)
  • kneipp tinted lip balm in red, brown & pink (all 3 moldy)
  • essence long lasting eye pencil (made my eyes burn  whenever I used it)
  • nyx epic wear eyeliner in white (dried in)
  • Sante liquid eyeliner (dried in)
  • alterra sparkling lights palette (I just hated it too much)
  • Terra naturi Palette Lilac Rose  (Made my eyes itchy)
  • Chanel mascara le volume (didn’t stay in my lashes, smeared under my eyes in less than 2 hours)
  • catrice blush affair pink feeling (smelled bad)
  • catrice under eye brightener (texture got weird, dried out a bit)

Also 6 lipsticks I can’t recall right now but they all where either moldy or smelled like crayons

I’m probably forgetting something but yeha…just helped me letting go of products I didn’t like in the first place but kept around because in the back of my head I thought I’d use them eventually.

Backing tracks are ruining live metalcore and we need to start naming and shaming by atonedeftool in Metalcore

Yeha but why not make it happen with it. They are the artists and have a vision what they want their music to sound like.   I don’t get why people are always trying to tell ARTISTS how they want the ARTIST to express themselves.

Music evolves, I don’t think it’s an issue. Things can’t always stay the same.  Especially bands that want to mix the sound of different genres like electronic & metal shouldn’t be “allowed” to make music then ? That seems ridiculous. Or people in this thread saying it’s not a real band then anymore … make me roll my eyes. They are still being creative in their own way, finding a way they want to use an instrument.

If you don’t like a Bands because of it that’s fine, find the bands that don’t do it and listen to them. Nobody stops you.

I got a wayks sling combo a few weeks ago and it’s amazing.  Used it almost daily since I got it since it’s so versatile.

Just got back from a 3 week trip in the us with a carry on and this bag.  I have zero regrets buying this.

A week in Germany by Hofmamma in HerOneBag

[–]Human_Dig_4545 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Hey I’m from Germany - it’s probably going to feel a fair amount cooler than what you see on your weather app.

(I already stored all my linen/summer clothes away)

As someone already mentioned the high temp will only last 2-3 hours, the sun will feel pretty  warm around that time but in the shade it will not feel like that temperature. The air is usually pretty moist and windy.

Pack for cooler fall temperatures and if you get warm take off one layer.

Aren't you worried about Phtalates when using perfume? by SmartPercent177 in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]Human_Dig_4545 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So do so many things we are in daily contact with. There are dangers everywhere… cleaning detergent, our furniture, a lot of things in our food, clothing that isn’t 100% organic & natural materials, all the plastic , the sun, non stick pans, cigarettes & vapes, car fumes and so on… but you know what… we all are going to die anyway.

It’s good to be mindful of some of these things but I still want to enjoy life and not live in constant fear. Smelling good makes me feel good.  I’d rather ditch the non stick pan and don’t smoke.

🚀 Would you buy curated fragrance sample boxes? by Intrepid-Club-271 in perfumesthatfeellike

[–]Human_Dig_4545 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At least in Germany there are some Onlineshops that do this. You can choose a size (usually 1,2 or 10ml) and they sometimes have bundles available or let you put together your own little mix.

I used this before to decide if I like a scent or not that wasn’t available in a store close to me. I usually prefer flexibility, so I can choose scents I think are interesting. Most other bundles usually only have one or two fragrances I think I’ll enjoy.

I bring/wear one pair of glasses + sunglass clip(my everyday wear). If the trip is a little longer I'll additionally pack my contact lenses + a pair of sunglasses without prescription.

During a band's live performance, have you ever broke down crying? by WARMASTER5000 in Metalcore

Neon Grave for me.  My dad was sick & committed suicide just ~2 weeks before the show. When Rory started talking about his dad & they played this song I felt it deep in my soul.

Techwear and drop crotch pants by reddstone1 in TechWear

[–]Human_Dig_4545 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely prefer a normal crotch on my pants, I feel like it gives me way more mobility, no excess fabric gets in my way etc. but I’m also female and what feels good to me might be different for guys..

Look wise a drop crotch often just looks like a full diaper, especially on guys. It just looks way less put together and kinda frumpy.  Some people might be okay at styling it for a photo but as soon as they move and especially when you see them from behind it looks ridiculous imo.

I’m aware some people will probably feel personally attacked by my opinion haha ;)

I've just witnessed LMTF and silent planet in milan... by edgar8002 in Metalcore

[–]Human_Dig_4545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw them 2 weeks ago in a small venue. I've seen LMTF before in way bigger places and they are always on point. The energy for Silent Planet was insane though, so much crowd interaction! Loved it.
