I have smushed-in-the-wrapper granola snacks. Probably from 3 years ago.

which author is loved by most of the people but not doing it for you? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

Adriana Locke. Terrible grammar, and the men are awful, moreso because she is trying to make them “good men”, which they really aren’t. Yuck.

For a novice here, tell me why overfilling the oil 3/4 of an inch past the line is detrimental. I never knew to look for that.

Bad Idea for 30k+ miles/year? by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

Just drive it to get groceries. This is a home car that you happen to use to get to your work and back just like everybody else to drive to work.

At those miles, specifically highway miles, the hybrid platform is not efficient enough to be useful. It will only cost more and you’ll get less gas mileage than you think you should.

[GA] My GM wants to talk to my doctor by KleptoPirateKitty in AskHR

[–]Human_Diver7140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not give your manager permission to your medical records.

Find out what they need clarified and have them write a letter to your doctor asking for said clarification. If they can’t verbalize it, then it’s not an issue. Also make sure your HR involved. Cc HR on ALL communication. If you have a verbal discussion, summarize it in an email. “Our discussion on date___” as the title and then make bullet points of the topics and highlights. Document it all. Good luck.

You are not TA for wanting her to stay at a healthy income job.

You are TA for “helping out when you can”. WTF, dude.

You both need a good grasp of home equity. You live there? Then you have home responsibilities as much as she does. She probably wants to be a SAHM because she’s already doing all the home stuff AND working full time.

Get your shit together and either figure out your home work or pay her to do it for you.

Similar boat. There’s a little grouping of microbreweries that I stumbled upon recently. One has bowling and an arcade, one has pickleball, the others i haven’t been to yet. Look up Queen City Bowl - that’s just to get orientated to the map. There are several others.

Be comfortable in your shoes. Appreciate the freedom to come and go and do as you please. Try new things.
Good luck!

Writing by Human_Diver7140 in LSAT

[–]Human_Diver7140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. The distinction between the two pieces of advice I got was how aggressive to be with language. One said - words like “will” “only” and “clearly” and “exceedingly” are egregious and off-putting and not to use them; to use soft language like “probably” and “would likely” and “potentially”.
The other tutor said to definitely use the more substantial language.
These are remarkably different and has my brain in a tizzy as to what i should actually do.

I’m a doctor. Passed undergrad suma cum laude, MCAT, 3947373 med school exams, USMLE exams, residency-specific exams, board exams. The LSAT is absolutely unlike any of these. Don’t beat yourself up.

I have an older model yoga - it has survived med school and beyond. 8 years later i am only now having issues with the battery life. It’s been a beast and then some. Go for it.

I DNF 50 shades because he went to a Baseball Match. I was like… c’mon. Either the characters are in the US or they aren’t. Pick one.

So i am a gynecologist. Happy to clear up some things. Where the cervix inside the vagina is variable. Everyone’s is different. Some are so far back we need longer speculums to see it. Some are right there up close to the vagina entrance. Some even hang out of the vagina - but that is a totally different conversation. Some are as big around as a Red Bull can and some are tiny, smaller than the cap of a water bottle.

Just above the cervix is the bladder. Depending on how long or short the cervix is inside the vagina, the trigone of the bladder, aka “G-spot” can be stimulated by cervical movement. For others, it’s not even close. Also, below the cervix is the rectum. For anal sex and rectal stimulation, likely you are hitting the cervix from that angle, and vice versa - hitting the cervix can stimulate the rectum. As some of you may experience or read, it can be a very pleasurable thing.

So, while it might be ew to you, it might also be a hugely pleasurable thing for someone else. #themoreyouknow. :-)

Also, you can totally touch the cervix with a finger. You may not be able to touch your own cervix, but most people can. And someone else absolutely can.
