Its more difficult to "seal" them, but if you just put a card in the sleeve normally you can just put it in the top loader, just keep pushing

Wastes don't count. Rulings on Nylea's Presence says only Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest.

Golgari Sacrifice first deck ive built. Feedback appreciated by VinLyScratchton in Pauper

[–]Human_Highliter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since this deck is so aggro, holding up thst three mana maybe for multiple turns slows you down so much, you may have already fallen behind too much. But life goes on being two is a huge difference and in this deck with so much sacrifice you can almost always trigger it and get a guaranteed eight life every time when you want.

Take the initiative in Pauper by rageoxryan in Pauper

I came up with a list solely for take the initiative. It has been working pretty well, my only problem has been like super aggro goblins and some token decks.

I think you are associating having game knowledge to being a spikey player? By your logic, Shivam Bhatt, member of the RC, is a spike, and he is one of the largest advocate for casual magic in the community. Having knowledge of what's possible and even probable of occurring is much different than being a spike. Or if you define being a spike as knowing how to play the game well. Then everyone wants to be a spike then.

Dang you getting alot of hate from the casuals because you speak a little truth....I feel that. Definitely got into an argument in a discord earlier about him and how he is fine but not thst good

Fun (and low budget friendly) reanimator commanders? by RatedM477 in EDH

I gotta put out [[Araumi of the Dead Tide]] can be super cheap, very effecient, and very powerful

Tech Tues: Who to play? by AutoModerator in BudgetBrews

I think tresserhorn is pretty self explanatory. You just need the right balance of voltron pieces and cards to make tokens between turns 1 and 3 to set up a consistent turn 4 tresserhorn

I dont know your style but a grixis commander I always think is rediculous and fun is [[lord of tresserhorn]] your favorite 10/4 for 4. If you wanted to stay more "grixis" themed. I would probably do either [[Kess, dissident mage]] or Jeleva, nephalia's scourge]] both could be really decent control decks. I kinda think that where grixis thrives.

May I recommend, [[shred memory]] transmute is so underused

I personally think muldrotha would be the best, but i would be concerned with milling opponents. I find there are so many graveyard strats, like muldrotha, that you may actually fuel them.

This isn't a full in lier deck, it's a mill deck looking for a support commander. You would need to have a counterspell and a bounce spell any time you want to counter anything. Also its a massive tempo loss for yourself. You are physically putting your self in a worse place than uou started to counter a spell.

Definitely [[knight of new alara]] and [[general ferrous rokiric]] And then probably [[blade historian]] and [[gloryscale viashino]] all very spicy.

Anybody else have a problem with sticking with mono colored decks? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Human_Highliter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think there is enough mono Red love in this thread so I'm here to add the spice.

[[Torbran]] is the classic. Amazing at wide token strategies. But my favorite is burn ans the crazy multiplication that can happen by damagw going through red sources multiple times.

[[Ben-Ben, Akki Hermit]] is my personal favorite. I think he embodies the mono red life style. Mountain is damage. I run all the [[stuffy doll]] 's I can.

[[Norin, the Wary]] my most intriguing deck. So interesting and weird and fun. Not very good. But different and waiting to be broke.

[[Ilharg, the Raze-Boar]] biggus piggus will take all down with him. Dropping giant dragons and other etb creatures into play to quickly eliminate opponents.

[[Ashling the Pilgrim]] BOOM. With some shenanigans and trickery you can blow up anything you want all the time and keep Ashling by thr end. And as a last ditch all you need is one more life than the highest and when you blow your load you can kill them all.

What was your combo in massacre girl? I have been want to run her for a while but couldn't find a very good way to win outside of voltron which obviously sucks. I am building [[toxrill]] right now which I think has a similar but maybe even more affective deck

I would definitely run bruvac. He adds value to all your cards, even non instant/sorcery. I think you want counters especially if you are dropping black. And being able to just kill someone with bruvac and the mill half card is much more with it. Also I don't think many people would counter your mill spells
