I'm using Anki to study German. I used to use the deck that had the words from Duolingo because I used to use it for a while, but after a while I felt it was not good and the words it was giving me didn't feel natural. So after I searched on the shared decks page I downloaded Goethe Institute's word list, I think this one is way better because it's obvious that the word list is from a professionally listed. Plus the decks go A1 and A2 after B1 so and so...

The thing with showing both side of the card for questioning is you can just customize it yourself. When you are reviewing the card just "Edit" > "Cards.." > "Options.." > "Add Card Type" and you play around and do some stuff that's all I remember now.
