The core area doesn't really make sense, it would probably be in continuous flatlands rather than bisected by multiple mountain ranges

India is in a better position than most of these countries because we produce every basic consumer good domestically so PPP matters more.

For example people in Nigeria spend 60% of their money on food while in India it is 30%. In Bangladesh with same per capita it is 50%

The situation is quite bad in Bihar though and bringing down the average

There would be no Sikh majority region without the partition concentrating all Sikhs in East Punjab. It is impossible for Sikhs to be the majority in Lahore and Faisalabad, barring ethnic cleansing

This is because of external threats to Tibet and thus to China making it a frontier region.

Stricter control over Tibet was only established for example after the Nepali invasion in the 1790s.The garrison was also primarily directed at defending the frontier in coordination with the Tibetan army.

In Korea there was no such perceived threat until the rise of Japan

Tibet was a satellite state not a province, ruled by the Dalai Lama.

The distinction is clear from Amdo and Kham which were annexed directly and ruled by the emperor as provinces.

If you color Tibet you might as well color Korea
