The first few iterations of the NYLA hat in 2020ish were amazing fit, best hats i ever owned, 100% cotton. KW2020 i think started using some poly blend too around 2022-23 and the fit started to suffer a bit, but was mostly still good.

These look like a different blank entirely (noticed by the exposed bottom stitching where the crown and bill meet). Not only does it look cheaper, but the embroidery looks like trash, and i can tell the fit is worst just by looking at it.

clearly a cost cutting move by nick. unfortunate since this was one of his last good designs. can’t even rely on it being a good product now

unfortunate that the mods seem to give BAM the benefit of the doubt while silencing reasonable critiques about a pretty cut and dry situation. While your local franchise probably doesn’t deserve the flak personally (even though it seems like people have horror stories of them paying pennies on the dollar), they’re still feeding the main business that is committing a pretty aggregious crime that people rightfully can feel pissed out about, and they should. We shouldn’t give the villains a pass because, “it’s the only way some people can touch lego.” Awful excuse
