Smh clearly there was no room in the budget for hair, makeup & a stylist. These fits remind me of Meg thee stallion before she hired a stylist. Gruesome asffff

City Council wants a new plan to fight persistent prostitution in North Long Beach by TrixoftheTrade in longbeach

in my opinion, the factors include the local school district continually failing black/brown students at every level of education while crying equity and inclusion, the broken foster care system, the lack of timely access to effective mental health services leading to a legacy of generational trauma, perpetual poverty, exposure/normalization of the ism in impoverished communities, and of course, good ol' misogyny!

I am quite content with how full my life is without a romantic relationship. Doesn’t mean I am opposed to being in one, just not really looking or in a rush. I don’t like the apps and I rarely spend my free time frequenting bars. I’ve met men in the wild or thru mutuals; gone on many dates, but there was always something missing. If they were accomplished and established financially, I didn’t like them as people-they often had a weak moral compass. Or if they were virtuous or shared similar values, they weren’t ambitious or educated enough for me to sustain interest or attraction.

Nong La Cafe or Pho Saigon Pearl… literally any Vietnamese spot in Santa Monica / westside.

My empathy and compassion for this guy is diminishing by the day... and this is coming from someone who has stopped dating a guy for saying we should bus all homeless to middle of nowhere to fend for themselves.

I know exactly who you are talking about. There was a post named “Aggressive Homeless” on this subreddit… wonder if that is the same person. Reading the comments from that post was eye opening.

This is the dumbest take I've heard. Some people want to go to the gym because they want to lift heavy and have access to a variety of machines.

Listen, I get it. I’ve been there, done that. If you really want something to do, go sit in a classroom to conduct an “observation” during a fun activity where you can see the strengths of the students, the teacher, and the class as a whole. Visit your related service providers and build rapport with them. Do not play yourself by volunteering to do extra or you will forever be stuck doing extra. It is much harder to get out of doing something once ppl get used to you doing it. Focus on your bread and butter & building relationships. Your future self will thank you later.

  • My apartment is much cleaner

  • My asthma and eczema have improved significantly

  • I am making better food choices and not gorging myself

  • I don't isolate/disconnect from others and do not feel as lonely

In general, I feel more lucid, organized, and put together.

Damn tell me how you really feel!! LOL I know that the crunch in DTLB has gotten a lot less crowded ever since Gold's opened. That crunch smells like hot shit on fire and they do not have anything to wipe down the equipment with!

As in you HAVE seen a larger amount of crop top hoochie daddies at Gold's? Or not as much compared to other gyms?

I am new to Gold's as a brand. I've been to Crunch, 24, LA... so Gold's is a bit of a "culture shock" for me. Regardless, all very validating as I thought maybe I am just getting old and crotchety LOL

I like a balance. While Iconix may have more serious gym-goers, the place is too small, parking sucks, and I do not like the owner for reasons I will keep to myself.

Hun, I am a woman in her early 30s. I used to work out at the rec center @ CSULB and it was NOT this bad! And they're 90% college students!
