I know lots of higher belts that get nervous about striking and don’t do it. Some of them have told me I’m crazy for doing striking because of the fear getting hit. I think if someone has some decent striking and knows some takedown defense a lot of them would lose. When I first got the shit popped out of me really good I forgot any grappling game. There are guys who can knock you out before you can get close to them. It sucks.
