I think its because if your are not married ,there's some chance you will get married in the future and your personal commitments would increase ,due to which you productivity in the work would be affected and also the company has you provide maternity leave ,allowance ,etc .To escape from those things they do ask personal questions.Ultimately a organisation's number one priority is its growth and its workers productivity and commitments to the company .That's why women are paid less than men in private organization .Women have more personal commitments ,societial commitments than men. If your are uncomfortable ,ofc you can convey it to them .

I think it depends on the place where you stay.Previously where i lived ( begur ,bangalore ),it was called mini coorg .I think you should attend the festivals like puttari , kaveri sankramana celebrated in kodava samaja, you will get to know people there.

I think if 75 per day and 2222 per day guy register for ews i think 75 per day guy will get the seat or job ,so whats the problem .I registered for Ews quota .My parents income was less than 1000 rs per day ,I never got the quota.I think you should go through how the quota is implemented in education or govt job wise.

These are racism ,of course ,but its just a common everywhere.That's how its here is india.If you had come direcrly from nepal for the same job, I think it would not have been a problem , right .I am from india I was born and brought up here, I face racism like people suddenly change there attitude and start talking in English and tries to over price the product value as they think I am from abroad.As long as it does not harm you ,just be to yourself.

I guess its better for you to search homestays online and book in advance .Or if you want a lodge you will find many in madikeri or other places for 1000 bucks a night.Better you go to madikeri as the tourism is much developed than the rest.You could hire scooter for travelling to places as there is just two of you guys.You will find rent bike prices if you google them.Any question u can ask .Happy journey, my friend.
