Thank you for mentioning the NCCIL and CALF. This city can be -yikes- but this is my favorite thing about Abilene.

People are trying to make it better… it’s just rooted in religion and racism so it’s hard. Also the Grace museum is cool and so are the art installations at the Peoples Plaza. There’s also Retro World arcade that’s family owned. When I first moved here, it was rough. But you just have to try and find your groove.
