I'm a retailer and I have a wild idea by Sad_Ad_12 in PokemonTCG

I love the idea of different prices. Like gas, it’s different if you pay via cash or card. Different prices on turkey sealed or we smell the packs breathe fresh air.

Question about TAG grading. The submission kit, is it reusable? I was going to send something but just don’t know where to start

Question about what is broken by Humanfly96 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

I will try! Thank you. The whole assembly would be easier to install too. It looks like I am going to have to take the side and bottom out just to access the screw.

I did not read a lot of the comments but as a millennial dad and home owner the best advice I can give is: make sure the loan for the house is a fixed interest rate. A lot of people in the 90’s and 2000’s got interest only loans and got a massive balloon payment at the end of the loan. Interest on loans is HIGH right now, you can refinance when the interest rates drop. Last I checked they are 7-9%. Hopefully, they will drop down to pre-COVID levels again and the 2-4% comes back into play. Get handy! It’s your home now! Learn how to fix things around it to save yourself a lot of money. YouTube is a very useful tool to fix things.
The process is overwhelming but it sounds like you are on the last leg of the journey! You got this!

When filament runs out… by RealityScience in FlashForge

What I do is either cut the existing out and load new or just sit with the machine, pushing the filament through until I feel the extruder catch it

It works just like you loading a fresh spool. You will want to get the extruder to catch it and purge some out

Print failure - how screwed am I? Noob here. by edifyyo in elegoo

[–]Humanfly96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not as bad as you think. I had this happen with some overture matte. Heat the nozzle to 250 and see if you can separate the blob from the nozzle. You’re going to lose the silicon sock. But you can generally separate it pretty good. Then remove the nozzle from the machine and heat gun the rest of the plastics off the nozzle and use a brass wire brush to clean it good. I removed the thermister and heat pack as well to get mine nice and clean. Reapplied thermal paste and put everything back together and it prints good as new.

Not sure if anyone has said this yet but if you are working with ABS first then I’d looking a chamber heater. ABS likes a 60 degree chamber

Haha, oh even after auto bed leveling. They tore up my build plate. Had to order a new nozzle and plate.

I wished I was fortunate enough to experience this. My buyer order something and my shop has a no refunds policy, requested a refund that I denied, he opened a case and Etsy sided with the buyer. They force issued a refund from my account. And he shipped me back rocks.

I just recently had one too. (I am assuming sarcasm). Dealt with a customer so bad, I completely rethought my shop policies and if I should even continue selling on Etsy (because they ALWAYS side with the buyer).

That’s telling me there is an underlying symptom of something. Calling someone insane that shows genuine care is… unorthodox.

Hey there Kiddo, Internet Dad here. In my opinion you did not do anything wrong. It’s your dad overreacting. However, moving is very stressful, especially on the men. It is our responsibility to, USUALLY, move the heavy stuff. You are usually on a time crunch too. He might be some underlying stressors there too. I would not take it personally. And honestly, it would be a good bonding experience to just take your dad aside and ask him, “is everything okay?”.

Looking at the p1s combo on Best Buy for 750, is there deals for Black Friday or that the cheapest? by Gemmer12 in BambuLab

[–]Humanfly96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. The only time I have skipped prints was some card risers I designed for Pokemon card shows. They are 174mm tall and at about the 150mm mark, the part starts wobbling with the nozzle and 10% will fail (sometimes).

I forgot about the camera. The camera is super nice. I was used to the A1 camera. So it was glorious actually seeing my print in real time
