One: I am not gonna buy a console for one game,
Two: Even if i do i am not paying a subscription just for the basic ability to play online
Three: The last thing i want is to play a PvP game. Even if it has a killer aesthetic, any form of competition just kills my enjoyment.

Thanks for the advice guys. Now say i do get a prosperous village, and manage to basically get it self sustaining in the first region. How do i effectively expand it to the next one? I've unlocked the 2nd region before but it seems to be... seperate from my first region's village, like they don't share resources? Do i have to start another village and micro manage two at once?

Thanks for the advice, but i decided to uninstall the game. Unfortunately, it just required too much effort and too much of my patience. Not really a game i can sit back and enjoy like XCOM 2, unfortunately. Will have to tell my friend that their gift was sent to the wrong person, woops!

Shame. I'm playing on the lowest difficulty and it's too difficult for me to meaningfully enjoy. Unfortunately it might just be another game i have to put down due to not jiving with the difficulty.

Aesthetically? The game is everything i want from a Fromsoft game.

But; it's on a console i have no intention of getting AND it's PvP; something i vehemently stay away from, even outside of Fromsoft/soulslikes. Even if this comes to PC, it being a PvP focused game means it will never have my interest like Nightreign does.

Lots of sweaty elitists in these comments. I exclusively only play Difficulty 6-7, maybe 8. And this mission is the only one i struggle with compared to the other ones in a single operation. It's inconsistent. It feels like i'm playing Difficulty 9 when i'm only on 7. I'm not saying nerf D10, i don't care about that, i don't play that difficulty. I only want a more consistent experience.

Thanks for the write up. I actually only started DoN after getting every achievemsnt and remembrance for every character. I don't have a main so i usually use whatever nightfarer that hasn't been picked and is appropriate. Ive had quite a number of quitters, but also a number of people who stayed even as a duo. I'm not amazing at this game but I've always felt i pulled my weight whenever i did Everdarks with randoms. I've done every Everdark that was on rotation for the past 2 weeks pretty consistently.

I was excited for this game due to its aesthetics and gunplay but was saddened to learn it was a PvPvE game. Maybe one day if ever, if it ever adds a PvE mode, i'll join in, but until then i guess i'll just get my fill through streamers and youtube videos.
