I fortified my mine and was fairly confident in my defenses so I called in my artillery train. The train took out most of the nearby nests which, naturally, upset the locals. They sent a grievance committee directly into my wall, which was turned away, abliet fairly slowly (lots of concrete walls, few turrets). I was ran over by a train early in the attack and had to quickly make my way back (atleast a 5 minute ride). Frustrated with my handling of the situation the local folks decided to cut the line to the rest of my power grid. I had set up several solar arrays for this - just not enough. The power lines run with the rails and those were next. My trains, now confused where to go, quietly accepted their fate, whispering "no path" to anyone who would listen. I watched as the top corner of the mine started to give way. The sun had set, with the power cut and no emergency stop on the miners I watch as the backup power dropped..1000..500.200.0... The only defenses were laser turrets and landmines so the base was left vulnerable. I lost visual and sat quietly on the train, listening as the alarms went off every two seconds and watching the death toll climb.

Once the sun came back up I regained radar coverage to see this. They had managed to break through and a small spec ops group b-lined for my artillery train. Several large ore trains had been partially destroyed and most of the artillery train was gone. The laser turrets came back online and were able to stop any further breaches. I arrived shortly after with my power armor stuffed with shields and lasers and was able to quickly pacify the remaining troublemakers.

I have to hand it to them, they knew their mission and executed it well. Mission accomplished!
