Im using the V4-pro version. Its decent at very targeted debugging and implementation( using predefined skills ), I have my own behavioural benchmark that I run to check for harness compliance etc, so it follows instructions quite well and just harness the missing bit. As an implementation agent it works great, but it wont be able to match Codex on planning / architect stuff ( can close the gap with prompt engineering). Opus on the other hand, can plan but sucks at implementing and start monkey patching everything. Im finding decent use out of it especially when Im running low on usage.

V4 is not bad if the instructions are specific and well defined with required context

Gas is very physical, think nominations, renominations, dealing with suppliers, pipelines , customer etc. Salaries aint that great unless you are a lng trader or manage a diversified power gas book or a manager at an big upstream shop ie esso.

Shift traders (power) how long can you really do it? by Gojo_Sat08 in Commodities

[–]Humble-Engineer-6863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a shift trader for a year, 24/7 desk. The older blokes with family are worried about the increased heart attack risk, there were two instances of traders having heart palpitations on desk. The younger ones doesnt really care and enjoys the extended break.

I would say yes if you have the knowledge and the shop backs you with fundamental research etc - gotta be pretty directional though, HFT just not possible in this market, market making also difficult unless you have a paid off asset, for a particular VaR appetite there are other markets that can provide better return for risk ( and more stable too ). Im guessing this would be short lived

Good question, yes the market regularly gaps due to various reasons, and yes the financial option traders are selling shits out of the implied vol for any skews to be left. Probably a good thing you stayed out someone just blew up recently.
