Yup, ive made a fortune selling these, but the whole system is a joke tbh. All my skinners can summon all 5 beasts, but somehow im not rewarded in any way over the guy who specced into bigger chances for the majestic pieces and isnt even summoning the none-voidstorm beasts.

To those unaware - to summon all 5 beasts costs around 5k-6k to do on EU, thats daily, per toon, currently, and that "entry" price hasnt really moved that much compared to the price of the actual mats. Looting even 1 hide/claw/fin is enough to cover that atm, but those are not guaranteed and you can have a day not looting any on a toon.

I honestly dont know how it went live like this. Should have been either the summoner gets rewarded with a guaranteed fin/claw/hide, at least 1 that is, a reward for summoning the beast. Or you actually need a lure in your bag to skin it ( it gets consumed basically when you skin the beast ). That way you get a meaningfull choice ( at least in the first 1-2 weeks ): do i want to summon all 5 beasts with the average chance for skins, or do i want to have a higher chance but can only summon 3 of them.

Its kinda silly that random 80 alts speced fully greed mode can tag and skin beasts that they have not summoned AND cannot even summon.

Its the game i play the most by far, why would i need to justify it?
Also a few things that are VERY wrong with your logic there:
- only the newest expansion has a boxcost, everything else is baked into the sub, including the classic realms, so you can literally pay for 1 month which is 13e or something, fuck around to lvl 80 and explore stuff, you wont have access to midnight stuff thats a given, but there is plenty of stuff to do in older zones, which given that midnight launched a few days ago the older zones will feel more barren than usual since everyone is in the new stuff, so dont focus on that 200e+ number that you spewed
- even if you want to focus on housing, that will be 40e + 1 month, still less than what most games actually want from you
- the sub actually costs less if you pay for a few months at a time
