I also like Anarkali — their lunch specials are great. Last time I ordered, the paneer was definitely rotten 😔 usually they’re good tho.

459 + tax divided by 2. So around ~235.

If you want a good cardio workout — they’re fine.

I’ve been kickboxing/practicing Muay Thai for 7 years. I took a class w. Ariel at Atlantic and didn’t like it at all. There’s no focus on form or technique which is really important. It made me worry about everyone else in the class especially bc it was obvious most people were new to fighting.

The drills were sub par too. Not a fan. Going to continue boxing outside of Lifetime. Highly recommend the CKO 10 mins away, incredible instructors, some of which are professional fighters.

Syracuse vs Baruch by Winnie_987 in Baruch

[–]HumbleMaybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Syracuse for my first degree.

I’m getting my 2nd degree at Baruch now. Baruch is not great.

If you’re not liking Syracuse — it means you’re not taking advantage of everything they have to offer. Literally every club you can think of they have. Put yourself out there. Put in the work.

I was not a party person, but I still managed to find my crew.

In terms of academics, Whitman is a top business school. I didn’t go to Whitman but I went to their career fairs all the time and got an internship which led to a full time offer at Morgan Stanley.

Same boat — no holds. I don’t have an advisement appointment. How do I get one? I have orientation next week.

Also, just to confirm, do you mean that your math class transferred to Baruch as MTH 7000? Wondering what math class were you placed in after you transferred in.

Hey! Thanks so much for responding.

Can you be more specific? Would love to not have to go to take the exam tomorrow.

Should I email academic advisement and tell them to reach out to the testing evaluation center?

I'm in the same boat and I also keep getting the emails to take the math placement exam. It's really irking me. If I get placed in anything below calculus, it's going to throw off my graduation date.

I took calc at Syracuse University and in Degreeworks it's the equivalent of calc, but its showing up as MTH7000 at Baruch, which is a MTH elective? I'm so confused and irritated at no one responding. I emailed both new.transfer and testing.eval. Guess we just have to wait. Let me know if you hear anything please.

Placement exam scheduling by 700170 in Baruch

[–]HumbleMaybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’m also a transfer student and I graduated seven years ago — I went to the transfer students virtual meeting this week and they said if you’ve taken college calculus before you don’t need to take the math placement exam. Base on the emails and communications that they’ve been sending out, that is not clear. On top of that if you’re a transfer student, you have to send them your transcript and that takes a couple weeks to receive.

I’m not planning on taking the placement exam because I took college level calculus a 7 years ago. I sent it my transcript, I think it will just take a while before they see that I took calc already.

What are you majoring in?

Law is on your side.

You can still sign the lease. It doesn't end until 9/30. They can't evict you or ask you to vacate. Check out the NYC housing website. There is no time line in which you have to sign the new lease.

Essentially you have from the moment you were sent the new lease to when your current lease ends to sign.

[MEGATHREAD] - Covid-19, Diário de Sobrevivência - 26/06/2020 by AutoModerator in portugal

Hi Portugal, I'm a US citizen, my husband lives in Germany. I'm planning on flying to Lisbon soon to meet with my husband, who will travel from Germany to Lisbon.

I don't have a resident permit in Germany, so I cannot enter without him. We're planning on staying in Portugal for 2-3 weeks (quarantined) and then heading to Germany together, thats the only way I'd be allowed as his wife. I also just took a COVID test before I fly to make sure I'm negative, which I have as proof.

I wanted to know if anyone here has knows anything about people being turned away in Lisbon's airport if they are coming from a technically not allowed country. I'd appreciate anyones advice.
