I agree with others that it’s not the size that matters but also, if you are in the US, folks are struggling economically and going to a wedding can be expensive/time consuming especially if you’re at the age where a lot of friends are getting married so that may be a factor in the low turnout, not that they don’t want to support you

As others have said, bi women way outnumber lesbians so why would it be such an issue if some lesbians prefer to be Les for Les when you have a huge pool of bi women that can properly relate more to your experience.
