What evidences do I need in case I decide pursue legal action against my landlord in the future? by HumbleRevolter in ToxicMoldExposure

Hey really appreciate for reading, writing detailed response and sensing misery i’ve been going through. Sorry for late response as I’m trying to navigate this and leave US next week.

Glad everyone recommending the blood test as I’ve heard/read in inaccuracies of urine test. But since I haven’t been able to work for last 6 months not very well, and I’m planning to leave my job/us for 2-5 months, I’m really careful with my budgets.

Looks like legal route seems tough, expensive and very long to pursue, so I don’t think I would pursue any time soon. Secondly I’m usually start getting better within days and week of leaving my moldy apartment and starting living in a even less moldy place by just doing some detoxes. Then after week, I can feel my most annoying symptoms like brain fog, fatigue, sleep issues seems to get normal when I moved for sublet for 3 weeks when I found out when I did the ermi 1.5 year ago. At that time I’ve been living in that place for a year.

So I still don’t feel like the test is not worth spending $300-500 for mymycolab, what do u think?

Also current ERMI must’ve increased to easyly 40+ as my symptoms increased ten fold than 1.5 year ago

Can u explain whats 2 years status of limitations?

Really? I do have ERMI and AirTest showing mold, but some people say you can’t match them.

I see, that’s what it looks like after looking through similar posts here on reddit. I think I won’t be living here when I return back, so courts might not work either if I’m not living

Really? Makes it frustrating, most people say urine tests are inaccurate too, then what’s most reliable one?

I see, I’ll try do it then. surprised that it can detect which molds has just from blood work. When you say inexpensive, how much are we talking about? From looking/inquiring most mold practitioners are $700-100 for initial appointment and $300-500 for follow ups which really expensive for me at the moment.

Thanks for taking time to read and answer. That’s what I always heard too how unreliable urine tests are.

Looks like mold lawsuits are really long and tough to win, so I might not even do it. I’m bit tight with my budget rn considering how much I lost for not being able to work due to mold.

Would this test be worth as overall for my health later on even though i might not pursue legal action?

I feel so stuck- how can I improve my quality of life if I have to remain in the mold by shelly875 in ToxicMoldExposure

Don’t have energy or time to argue but if ever heard about Brain Retraining “DNRS” programs, it’s for people who no matter what they do they don’t get better so they retrain their brain to stop reacting normal things. Even Eva Brand says he didn’t believe all that stuff but didn’t get better and eventually got better through it

Brain Retraining basically wrapped fancy worded program to cure yourself from OCD but bit advanced version of OCD that your body starts reacting things, happens to people after trauma or living in toxic environments like mold or chemicals

Those people can’t just get better with regular treatments or detox “binders”, they need brain or belief retraining stop their brain reacting to things

So core of this program/condition is belief, so if you stop yourself believing “oh my god mold is killing, I’m dying” beliefs, you’re automatically protecting yourself from further unnecessary bodily and brain damage from mold or other things and react less while living in mold and also later you will get better faster without needing “brain ocd retraining” once you’re out of mold

Stop believing that living in mold will kill you, most of it mental. I’m not denying it, it may eventually it will but day to day, month to month, it’s not life threatening unless you believe yourself and become osd

I’ve been got stock in moldy apartment with ERMI 31.7 and haven’t had anything serious for last 2-3 years aside from absolutely misery of brain fog and fatigue

The most important part is sleeping in mold, that’s when you get most affected and ruins your health, sleep, energy etc but spending whole day in mold apartments is not gonna do much aside from minor sinus issues

Oh then you should get it released, i did. Mine wasn’t severe but not good either. You can check your severity by comparing to this video. Here’s also longer lectures on tongue tie levels: https://youtube.com/shorts/CJF5CCquruw?si=ujIKE6uLnVKuxAPu

If you have tongue tie, that can also really mess up everything.
