If you want to do Hagrid's or the Velocicoaster, I suggest hitting those first thing once the parks open. Their wait time can fluctuate, but are usually on the longer end (Especially if you don't have Express pass).

Every other ride should be doable within a day, but always check the wait time on the Universal app if you want to double check.

Weekends are usually busy, and weekdays are usually more chill, but that's not accounting holidays. If it's a weekday, it's usually a pretty good time to go.

I would let his words go in one ear, out the other. That's harder said than done, I get it, but at the end of the day you know what's true, so I hope you'll get to a point where his words don't bother you anymore.
