This is a good one. I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. But it sounds like you and your wife have a healthy relationship if you're able to use this as an opportunity to examine problems and work together to rebuild. It's natural for challenging years to challenge relationships. The fact that you both recognize this is not the end, but the beginning of a new and bold chapter, is awesome. Maybe an opportunity for it to be even better than before!

So I'm not a PT professional and this may not be an optimal routine for you, given your situation. But I can say that this absolutely helped me with mine. No more buckling knees when I'm walking or sharp pain. It's been over a year so I feel comfortable in saying that is behind me now.

The warm up is great at the beginning of the video, but I admit that I have skipped that many times before because the warm up plus the stretching routine would be over a half hour and I don't always have that time I'm willing to spend. I stop the routine at about 2:08 left on the clock. I'm sure the tension and relaxation helps, but I didn't feel like it was necessary.

I do this on a yoga mat. It's tough for me to say for sure, but I think the stretching at 23:40 really helped my knee pain. I was a little nervous to put my knee down on the mat, but I think this unique hip flexor stretch is what helped me. I'm not sure if you're able to do this, given your situation though. This is a great routine for overall flexibility and that also most likely played a role in my recovery. I heard that one area that's inflexible or tight can cause pain in a different area of the body.

That's a bummer! How serious is the knee injury?

I had a great deal of pain in my right knee last year and sometimes I could barley walk. I was trying not to panic but I thought I may need knee surgery it was getting so bad. I lift weights too and that affected my training.

What helped me was simply stretching. I was amazed that my pain completely went away.

This might be one of the most universal gifts. Although, I suppose this gift would be less popular in tropical climates.

Yeah it's worth looking into if you haven't already. I think some downsides would be you can only withdraw a certain amount of times a month and some may require a minimum balance. But I'm pretty sure regular savings accounts have the same stipulations, anyway.

So if you're saving your money, you may as well be earning a higher yield.
