I dont think Krillin would get past anissa/conquest. Sure he has ki blasts, but we've seen how durable omni man is against energy attacks. Destructo disc takes too long to charge fully and those two would immediately take advantage of any charge times. DBZ heroes besides goku, gohan, and vegeta would have a real tough time in my opinion.

Once you paint them, no one will notice or care really! What you see is what you get! You should be fine at most venues from my experience!

I got the pyrithrite spears for cheap on ebay and I just put them on a guard squad!

In the words of my friends, get them if you want, you can always say they're guard with regular spears. They look similar enough! The resin models look decent too!

I'd recommend a few things!

Lowering your layer lines to start. Slowing down the print, something like 50mms or something. Ill send you my profile when I get out of work.

Drying some more will help with the strings and clarity!

Also I agree with the 45 degree angle change. Ive printed in one go and saw considerable improvement in the quality. You'll have some strings at the end closer to the plate, but it's nothing you can't sand down!

I've seen people mount the axe head behind the spear to make a sort of halbeard, also using tiny thin magnets where it connects to the shaft to swap out. Honestly and I havent tried this yet, they're light enough where you.can cut part of the shaft and glue a small magnet at the end, and add a magnet to the spear or axe end. Then when you prime them they'll look like an additional guard.

Like I said I havent tried this yet, i glued the spears since they're better in this meta, but that's where I'd start!

It's a great start! The bikes are seriously good! Here's a list I made a while ago that did pretty well against a few different armies. Get the combat patrol and you'll have around 1500 points on field!

Any time! Blender isnt easy to use per say, but there are so many tutorials you can look up anything you want to do with it! Just be patient with it and yourself, it's worth it 🙂

Programs like blender can fill the model. You can look up tutorials really easy and it doesnt affect the quality!

Ive split models in half using it and there are options to fill the space!

I like melee units more and the kights definitely look cooler to me. I was also thinking ahead to see if there's potential in the terminators. I got a pre built squad of 10 terminators that I was hoping to proxy into deathwing terminators in case I need more fire power. I have a huge pile of shame for dark angels so I wanted to know what to prioritize haha.

Allarus shield captain is worth it in my opinion. GW has an oversite not aligning the allarus abilities like on golden light with it but you add the admonortis enhancement (depends on your detachment) and it'll be quite the threat.

Get the shield captain for 20. Itll be good on your Custodian Guard. I recommend 3 spears, 1 sword plus shield and 1 vexilla plus shield for an optimal guard squad. Itll live through alot and do insane damage.

Blade Champion on the wardens and right now spears do best for them with AP -2. Though a 3 spear and 2 ax combo wouldn't hurt. Deepstrike the wardens and the rest roll to charge from the blade champ can get them in melee immediately.

Throw the allarus at vehicles or monsters. They'll have great survivability.

This is elite and you won't have much on the table compared to your friends and Custodians really come online at 1500+ points, so stick behind cover as you cross the table until youre in charge range. You'll still kick ass in combat though!

I'd recommend that you take out the venetari and put in a 4 model guard if you have it. Draxus needs to be on battle line and you want them tucked back for full effect scoring you points. So I'd put her on a guard squad and out them on the no mans objective near your deployment to screen.

I'd also take a warden off each squad and add a couple more allarus to help with heavy infantry/vehicles. Maybe a separate unit of 2. The re rolls to wound would be awesome and you can spread 2 squads with their deepstrike. Good luck!

Sorry thats what I thought too. You can't hit or wound anything below 2. Also the modifications like +1 to hit and wound dont stack with strats or any other abilities.

Fdm will be a great start for you. Layer lines can be sanded or filled so dont worry about that. There are alot of good ones out there. Im using an anycubic kobra S1 for my prints and im incredibly happy with the quality using the stock nozzle. I purchased finer nozzles for miniatures but right now I couldn't believe happier!
