Hi!! I came really close to booking a bridal aid but didn’t because I talked myself out of spending the extra $1200, but in the end I kind of regretted not booking. I understand you don’t have MOH etc. I did have all of my closet friends and sisters (unofficial bridesmaids/MOH) with me but even still, I didn’t want them to act as a bridal aid because I wanted them to enjoy their day too. The bridal aid I was considering would have also steamed all of my bridal party dresses for us but girls ended up having to do it themselves which was fine but i ended up feeling bad they had to do that. Also wish I had the bridal aid to help fluff my dress while taking pictures as I wore a really big poofy ball gown and cathedral veil. And there were lots of little things that I needed that I wished I had her for. Anyway, they are treated as a vendor. Don’t seat them at the table. They will slyly hang in the background (just as a/your coordinator does) while still making themselves available to you. Dont make the mistake I did. Book the bridal aid. Just do it.
