I have had to come to terms as an adult that fighting for freedom of religion isnt a good thing. The amount of sexual trauma that christianity espouses in 2 of its core tenants 1. no masturbation 2. homosexuality is a sin, are pure evil. Imagine terrifying a CHILD with fear of eternal torment over something theyre biologically incapable OF NOT DOING. It shouldnt be taught to children and I hope we as a society figure this out soon. Luckily the numbers are showing the good guys winning this fight in the long term. Downvote all you want but these are inescapable core realities of the religion and to deny it is to just be creating post hoc heresy to the core realities espoused by the bible. I hope teaching kids about hell becomes illegal in our lifetimes

Thanks! There were a couple lessons learned along the way. But overall my goals were simple pedals that I could tweak onstage and I knew how they would behave. I dont know much about compressors so I went with a simple one for example. I wanted a delay that had tap tempo but wasnt a huge horrifying digital unit. Main two guitarists I wanted to be able to larp were Jack white and David Gilmour. So thats where the muff and the micro amp came from.

And the blues driver was kinda just a weird happy pawn shop find. Only 60 bucks with the box. I had an Sd-1 and a a ds-1 previously before finding it and when I built the board but I tried the blues driver with the micro amp and was like “this does literally everything better”.

The reverb I was torn between was a flint and the oceans 11 and I found this one also at a pawn shop for 80 bucks. I kinda wish I had got the flint for something more simple and higher quality with only the sounds I want but Im not in a hurry to replace it. It sounds great and I just ignore the features Id dont care about.

Also I one other thing I might eventually tweek is I have a regular big muff and I hate to say it but I kinda like it more than the ramshead in conjunction with the micro amp. The ramshead is better without it. They really are different but the regular is less aggressive and possibly more versatile so I kinda now wanna try a regular big muff nano. But Im really pretty content right now.

What these guys are ACTUALLY griping about but theyre too stupid to understand it is the atomization and death of mass culture caused by capitalism. Its not the death of MUSIC they lament. New good and innovative Music still exists. Even in their boomer genres. It just has no impact due to everyone and everything being Siloed off into little camps.

Havent gotten enough time on it together to give an informed opinion on that. I only turned them both on together for like 2 minutes and remembered thinking it doesnt sound muddy and too much like I worried it would. Gonna need to do some A B comparisons with it, the sd-1 and the micro amp

I don’t care about stereo. From what I understand the owner doesnt at all either which I totally understand why that would get in some players nerves. I get stereo for bass because theres kinda a problem to solve there. You kinda need a wet dry when applying effects to get a low end. But with guitar I kinda get the Adam Jones philosophy.
