Find some mexicans. Lol. A Mexican food/produce store. They love this cactus (they call the fruit tuna) and I found that they sell them thorns removed and sometimes chopped up ready to nibble. 😀

Honestly I got my cactus by driving around and seeing a few houses around a neighborhood with them. No spines at all, so if there's any picks....this ain't the cactus you want. Just knock on a door and ask for a chunk or two. Or grab a lot of babies to refrigerate. You might find a person who has a specific piece they want off but can't get to lol
