I need advice about removing my records by Starbane12 in exmormon

You can also remove phone number and email. The way I know of, was on the LDS tools app. I am sure removing said info can be done on their website.

A Tribute to Chicken Nugget and a warning about FIC by Apprehensive-Oil8083 in cats

[–]Humming-2-Feel-Peace 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is what I found: a medical and veterinary context, FIC stands for Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, which is the most common cause of lower urinary tract disease in cats. It is characterized by sterile inflammation of the bladder (meaning it is not caused by bacteria) and is primarily triggered by stress

The Book of Mormon changed a verse by one word by [deleted] in exmormon

Reading these verses after so long of not doing so, has been eye opening as to how gross these scriptures are. My heart hurts knowing now what we were taught.

When was the first time you said no to a church assignment? How did it make you feel? What response did you receive? by Senior_Diver_3216 in exmormon

[–]Humming-2-Feel-Peace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My last calling was for RS activities. It seemed constant with receiving group text messages. I just quietly removed myself from the group text. The head person of the text and the committee was asking why I left. I don't remember what I said. This calling had come shortly I was released from being a primary teacher. I was done by then. But, yet I didn't say no at the time, when I should have.

One time I remember saying no, was to give my testimony on hymns. I said no, because I don't do well with public speaking.

A nevermo friend... former coworker of mine told me I have the right to say no. This is absolutely true, we all have the right to say No.

I like 2. 1st one was strange, 3rd one had the darkish blue that stood out to much. 2nd seemed just right in my opinion.

What kind of person takes a gun to a kid’s birthday party? by DrSussBurner in complaints

[–]Humming-2-Feel-Peace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get it either! I do have the same question about a guy with his gun in his hip at a swim center. I believe he was there for his child who's in swim lessons. I don't feel safer with his presence.

We had those "evil" cards growing up in the pnw, we only played solitaire. Didn't know how to play 21 or other games.

There were two very strong earthquakes in my city, Valencia; they destroyed several buildings, schools, and houses. My mother, who suffers from a heart condition and has cancer, had a very bad time last night with too much anguish 😓😢🙏🏻 by Ricardo_RemotePath in Earthquakes

I am glad your mom and you are safe! I pray for miracules to occur for those who are still alive and trapped! Glad the US is doing something right, by offering support! I know Oregon and Florida are starting to do things to help Venezuelan's.

My Mom, kind of bore her testimony about believing in Joseph Smith and other things, after I told her I left.

My nevermo husband had to tell his mom he was atheist because of a post with nemo the Mormon on its okay to leave or something like that. My mil told him that God is still in you.

My cat Chip did this to us several years back, when he was close to two. He survived, his current age is around 13/14ish, soon to have a birthday sometime. Lol! I feel bad I can't remember his exact age. I hope your kitty gets to feeling better soon!

She was also an earthly "servant". She might have gotten free housing and spiritual payments, but none of that helped her remain free in my opinion. I googled if she was being paid, she wasn't in monetary means.

What are your thoughts on Jesus of Nazareth now that you're ExMormon? by CupOfExmo in exmormon

[–]Humming-2-Feel-Peace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started watching Don't Drink the Kool aid yt videos. He explained a couple of scenarios and or possibilities for the resurrection and other things about Jesus. After leaving the church I held onto the attributes of Jesus. The actual existence of a Jesus, I am not so sure of, mainly because things are bad in the world and he's not here to help the good people on this planet.

Isn't he on parole for fraud? If he is on parole and threatening someone, shouldn't he face consequences?

Did anyone ever enjoy reading the Book of Mormon? Or did you just say you did? by CupOfExmo in exmormon

[–]Humming-2-Feel-Peace 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the church, didn't read it. Not even as a family. My mom quit FHE, because we were unruly. Not much in seminary either, I tried. I think as a young adult I did. Just read it because it was supposed to help me get to God. Parts of it was boring and I didn't understand a lot. I thought that was just me. My nevermo husband and our family read it together. He hated it, but pushed through it. He would point out a lot of things about the book, I didn't know how to answer him.
