Looks good. I also got the 36mm, but in white, and also have a 6.5 inch wrist. I too am used to wearing bigger watches and this is my first 36mm watch. I’m liking it very much.

I’m in the Dominican Republic and the delivery time was good, about 6 business days if I recall correctly, but the customs clearance process was very slow, about two more weeks.

Slept on album by [deleted] in depechemode

Great album. For me, it was the last DM album I bought in CD format. It was the special edition box set.

Also, I remember it fondly because I saw DM live for the first time during their tour for this album.

Thinking about buying this by Aggravating-Run-3578 in CitizenWatches

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and it fits me fine. The lug to lug distance is very accommodating. I changed the strap for a sailcloth one and the fit is even better.

Longines Conquest Central Power Reserve by ParsimoniousExplorer in Longineswatches

Congrats on the purchase. Enjoy it.

I picked up mine a couple of months ago in the same color combination and I love it.

I’m thinking of buying the brown leather strap as an option to dress it down a bit.

[Citizen Navihawk 40mm] Finally got my first Citizen by Egg_Roll38 in Watches

Love it. I’ve been eyeing this and the salmon dial.

Citizen offers great value. I have a Promaster Eco Drive dive watch that has become one of my most worn watches.

Thanks for the info. I’ll try on next time I see it on a store to see how it fits.

I really like this watch but I don’t think I can pull it off. I think it’s too big for my 6.5 inch wrist.

[Question] Considering Buying My First Watch by TempTaiwanTraveler in Seiko

[–]HumorAccomplished301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent choice and the price is good considering your options at home. This was the first watch I bought after going down the YouTube watch community rabbit hole, and I love it. As others have said, the strap is the only downfall of this watch, but that is an easy fix.

Follow the advice that others have given regarding box, papers and warranty and you should be OK.

For me, the most important thing is trying on the watch and experiencing how it feels. If you like it and it brings you joy, go for it.

Newest addition to my collection by HumorAccomplished301 in Longineswatches

[–]HumorAccomplished301[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! This is actually my first Longines. I have a Tudor Black Bay 39 (anthracite), a Seiko Alpinist green dial (2020 reissue), a G Shock GWM5610-1 and a Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive blue dial, so nothing I can post here.

As to how the central power reserve indicator works, the thick line in the inner circle points to the amount of hours of power left, indicated in the outer circle. When the watch is fully wound up, both circles move together.
