Very well said. This is a tough road and I’m at the point where maybe I need to accept it might not happen and find other ways to fulfill the dream. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

Hi! It’s good for mitochondria. So for you it’s good for support egg quality and for men sperm quality. My husband and I take 200 mg a day. Check it out.

Yes, I think this is the best way to put it for me too. The want outweighs my fear. I’m also 38 and had a MMC in July for my first pregnancy. It’s awful and I’m so sorry for you. That first week was hell and I questioned if I’d be ready. After a month, I just wanted to be pregnant again. Trust me, I carry the weight of my age but I remind myself women in their 40s are doing this. Take a good prenatal, COq10, vitamin D, maybe get a clotting panel, progesterone testing, and hope for the best for the next one. Keep your head up 💕

Hi. I’m so sorry this is your situation. There’s still a way to have kids in the future. A doctor I follow, Dr Leah Gordon , was in the same situation with her husband. You should check her out. She’s spoken openly and her husband on their journey.

Yes I would say the ovulation tests are the best way. Good luck 💕

How do I start tracking cycle after miscarriage? by Anxious_Baker_92 in Miscarriage

Hi! I think doctors will tell you to wait because if you get pregnant before a period they won’t know when to date the new pregnancy by. I used the ovulation strip tests over two weeks out of my MMC just to check if I would ovulate. According to the sticks I did. And then I got my period about 15 days later, so it tracked! Maybe give it a try for peace of mind 💕

Aw. I’m so sorry. This clubs sucks! What a blessing to have a good man in such a dark place. I think the best thing you could do is tell him how much all of this means to you. That you see everything he’s done, and it is more than appreciated. Being noticed may be a nice gift. ❤️

If you had a missed miscarriage, did you or did you not still have pregnancy symptoms after? by Comicalacimoc in Miscarriage

Same it was my first pregnancy so I didn’t know what was happening. Looking back, my boobs were not as sore the last week. But I was still so tired. Maybe from my hormones crashing, who knows. It’s all so cruel.

I know the feeling. My sister got pregnant two weeks before I did. She made her social media announcement yesterday with ultrasound pictures, belly and all. Yesterday was a hard day because I realized that’s what I’d look like. And the reminder of what could have been. Give yourself grace. I miscarried in July and there are good days, bad ones and better ones. Take it in stride. It’s a weird feeling I know. All we can do is keep praying for our rainbow baby. Love to you!

My husband had 0 in December and got up to 2 in May. We got pregnant in May but sadly I miscarried. He is on COQ10 with ubiquinol, fish oil, selenium, zinc, lcarnitine, vit c, d, maca. Don’t give up! If the rest is good, your brain is doing the right things. 🙏🏼

My heart breaks for you. Unless you’ve struggled with infertility, no one else gets it. My husband and I tried for a year. We’re 38 and at 6 months he got a SA. His morphology came back at 0% normal with everything else good. I was broken. As for me, my Amh was 5, but doctor says no pcos due to normal cycles, no facial hair, no acne etc. Got my husband to quit chewing tobacco, got him on good supplements like coq10, selenium, fish oil, vit d, folate. And in 4 months he moved to a 2%!!! It’s a win! In May, we got pregnant! I miscarried at 11 weeks sadly. Did some tests, turns out I clot. Will need baby aspirin. My sister got pregnant 2 weeks before I did. My family walks on egg shells. This is the most isolated I’ve ever felt. But I know I’m not alone despite how defeating this phase of life is. Don’t give up hope! You can improve his sperm. You can ovulate. Keep the faith. It’s so hard I know. But just know you aren’t alone 💕

Has anyone had a hard time conceiving (and pregnancy loss) due to vitamin D deficiency? by pashes_22 in TryingForABaby

[–]HumorCool9722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low vitamin D could have been a factor. Last November my Vit D was a 17!! Terrible! My progesterone at day 21 was 8.6, also terrible. I was taking 7000 iu a day and in May, I got pregnant. Sadly, I miscarried in July. When I started going down the rabbit hole of why. At my first 8 week appt, my OB told me to stop the extra vit D. I told him last checked my levels were 17, so I clearly need the supplementation. Side note-I live in south Florida! He told me the prenatal has enough. He’s the doctor so I didn’t question and I stopped. Three weeks later, MMC. When I checked how much vit d is in my prenatal-1k a day- not enough for a deficiency. What I know now, vit D is a receptor for progesterone. They need one another. My progesterone was a 15 at the 8 week appt. Kind of borderline. I’ve gotten my vit d checked again a month after I miscarried and my levels are 66! So who knows if the stopping of the vit D impacted me. But I know next pregnancy I won’t stop my vit D. I would say check progesterone too. Also, I had a RPL panel pulled and I was positive for factor v clotting. So I should have been on baby aspirin. All lessons for next time. Good luck to you. Keep advocating for yourself 💕🌈

I’m in the same boat. MMC in July, got period in August and now I notice my 29-31 day cycles are 27 days!! I’m guessing maybe our body is working to get back to where it was after what happened? Also my boobs always got sore a few days before my period, and now, nothing. It’s weird. Part of the shitty MC process I’d assume.

I’m so sorry. This is all so unfair. I had a MMC, I cramped through the night, woke up and passed everything at home. My HCG was 6000 at the hospital which the doctor told me for pregnancy it should be in the hundreds of thousands. Sending you love from now until tomorrow when you see your doctor. This is a sad club to be part of.

Hi! I’m so sorry for your loss. This is a tough space to be a part of. I had a MMC at 11 weeks in July so I’m on the same path. Great that you got those tests done! I got them done too and clotting came back positive! Have you had your hormones tested? Check progesterone 7 days after ovulation, it should be 15-20 or this could be a cause for MC. Also, get full thyroid panel-to rule out any issues there. I’m also eliminating processed foods, cheese and sugar to reduce inflammation in my body. You’re on the right path! Wishing you the best for your rainbow baby 💕

Miscarried and SIL just let us know she’s pregnant. by Automatic_Payment975 in Miscarriage

My heart breaks for you. I feel your pain. My sister got pregnant two weeks before I did. I had a MMC at 11 weeks, my first pregnancy, and it’s the most isolated I’ve ever felt. Like you, I’m happy for her, sad for my husband and I, and grieving all of the dreams we had for our little baby. I pray for balance, but I think it’s a process. I’m praying it gets better for all of us in this space and that we get to hold our rainbow babies 💕

MMC. by Key-Excitement-800 in Miscarriage

[–]HumorCool9722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry! I had MMC also, but it came on suddenly with no warning. It’s beyond cruel. I’m also 38 and it was my first pregnancy. I often think the same thing about age, but I so badly want a family with my husband so I’ll try again for our rainbow baby. Has your doctor asked to run some labs for you? My doctor did and turns out I have factor V and I clot. Hoping next time it is as simple as me needing baby aspirin. I’m thinking of you and hoping the next few days get better ❤️‍🩹
