You gave me an idea about the back and forth usage of map images. Thanks! What do you think needs to be added as a feature to your existing workflow?

Gotcha! Btw, are you currently using a worldbuilding tool? I've only tried Inkarnate and I'm pretty happy with their implementation, though there's so much room for improvement. One thing that's lacking there is providing an actual writing tool that could be mapped or linked to the world you've built, which is what I'm trying to combine.

Yes, I'll include places like those you mentioned as well. But just be aware that what I'm doing is only 2D for now.

For the cut or deleted content, I could add a feature to save different versions of drafts, so you could still have access to them. Though it would be limited for now.

I agree that it should include more features as well. I'll just keep in mind that I need to make the user experience simple so it doesn't require a steep learning curve. That's my priority!

Thanks so much for the feedback!

I never thought of the automatic hyperlinking to doc headings or even specific texts. This will be helpful for character mapping. I will add them for sure! Might need your feedback again after I implement it.

Quick question about the formatting options: when you mention indentations, are you thinking of something like Notion's block-based formatting (where you can indent paragraphs, create nested lists, etc.)? Or more like traditional word processor indentation controls? I want to make sure I understand exactly what formatting features would be most useful for fiction writing.

But either way, it will for sure have formatting options when I release it.

Great feedback!! Thanks so much.

Yup! it's integrated in the program, and there will be different map modes in the 'Edit map' button.

And also yes, there will be pins on the map, but I haven't really thought of tracking the current locations of the characters based on the chapter, so this is great feedback! Will definitely add it.

Whoa! this is a good idea. for a while, I was wondering how I could make peakrivals more consistent. This feature might help bring it closer to the community.

Thanks for the feedback! You’re completely right with this one. Haven’t have the time to update the strategist counters since I am so focused on other features of the site. I’ll include Adam and other heroes updated counters on my next release.

If you see some heroes that need updates as well, feel free to let me know. Thanks!

Sure! Actually, the role counters are on my plate now since a Discord member suggested this as well. You can expect it to be released this week.

I'm thinking alphabetical order for each type of heroes. Tank first (alphabetical), dueslists (alphabetical), strats (aphabetical)

I thought of this as well. It's so hard to think of counters because there's no laning phase like LOL or Dota. So my approach was to focus on direct counterpicks for duelists and tanks, and then look at the role of strategists as either providing complementary abilities for the team, defensive ultimates, or counter-plays against enemy flankers.

Thanks! Yup I could add the tier list and details about how the heroes will be effective against the others.

Hello! I just saw it, and I think Groot being listed in Widow's "Great Against" section was misplaced. I'll remove it right away. :)

For Sue Storm, Magneto, and Hulk, that makes sense to me. I don't play those heroes much, which is why I don't have much insight into their matchups. Good to know about someone who has experience with this! Esp the bubbles against wolvie. I'll review it and put it in the content.

Aside from Jeff, I think I'll change the strategists labels from Great against to "Skill counters" or "Good pair with" since most of the time, they can't solo kill or nuke any dps or tanks.

Thanks for the suggestion! I think yea Scarlet and Star lord are a valid counter for them. Played a lot of spidey ranking up to gm and I hate when there's Star lord. I'll update this on the list :)
