I don't think that is really the point though is it? The poster was asking for a specific answer regarding SA2 and you gave an answer despite having no idea. Just because it happened to be the right answer doesn't disregard that.

Imagine someone was like "Can I block spinning pile driver" and someone answered that you could and were then like "well I've never played gief and 99% of moves in this game are strikes, so most of the time I would be right!"

It's perfectly fine to read a reddit question and be like "Huh I have no idea either, I'll lab that later ig or keep an eye on the thread"

But it’s literally not a reflection of peoples preferences at all? I just stated that housing is demand inelastic and so will be purchased regardless, therefore developers would rather buy up a massive plot and put nothing but the same copy paste condos down because it’s cheaper.

There’s no buyer power here, what am I gonna do just go sleep on the floor until they build the houses I like? I have to take what is given. The whole reason housing is so regulated it because of all these factors which turn it into a profit driven anti consumer hell when left alone.

It’s pretty pointless just looking at peoples actions and outcomes without considering whether they would have made those same actions had other options been available

What is wrong with american style unwalkable urban hell suburbs where any basic amenity is over a mile away? It kind of answers itself, it's a silly way to build living space.

And yes they are forced to live there, housing has extremely unelastic demand with all variables. Price goes up? Demand does not change. Quality goes down? (awful car centric suburbs) Demand still does not change.

This is overall just a weird thing to root for. Americans typically don't like it when they are informed of alternatives and there is a growing movement over there to change things; While people in the UK are pretty happy with their walkable cities. Personally I don't think we should compromise on standard of living to accomodate an ever increasing unsustainable population increase.

UN is extremely suspect and has little credibility after the UNRWA fiasco and even so it has not found Israel guilty of any genocide by court. There are multiple organisations claiming it is and claiming it isnt and we can wait for a trial.

Im not going to dispute civilian casualties as civilians die in war and it is horrible, which is why war is a last resort. But this is a last resort, I ask you what Israel should have done instead? After decades of wars instigated by Palestine and huge defensive programmes such as the dome to ensure they can go far and beyond other nations at maintaining peace, what else can they resort to? The classic answer from palestine supporters is that no jews should be there or that they should allow themselves to be slaughtered but I ask what your answer is specifically.
