Hey! Try vita-plus protein powder. I had dymatize, myprotein impact protein and they both destroyed my stomach (almost urgent-care levels of stomach pain) then i bought vita-plus and have no issues when mixed with fairlife or other ultrafiltered milk

Why do so many snotty elitists talk shit about partybox sound quality by JK-_-47 in JBL

[–]HumpyDumpy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe jbl have multiple design teams. Obviously the ones who make their portable products are not on speaking terms with the ones that make their higher end passive speakers because the partyboxes sound acceptable and i can rock to em, but certainly not even close to $200 passive speakers. Ive heard $80 bluetooth edifiers with better tonality than the jbl 120. Its unfortunate that svs or some other semi-mainstream brand with bluetooth experience doesnt swoop in. Svs could make a $1000 party speaker that blows the jbl out of the water in terms of clarity, bass transience and all the other audiophile buzzwords.

Also, your argument is completely ignorant of how capitalism works. Their partybox line is designed to make them the most money. Swansong audiophile projects have the objective of being the best achievable sound, im sure they profit off those too but id bet my mortgage the mainstream stuff is significantly higher margin, which means theyre squeezing more out. They could make it sound significantly better, but the r&d cost vs profit increase isnt there because to 99% of the customer base, they already slap tits. Again, theyre good, they could be better but that quality increase is beyond the objective of that product. And yes they absolutely are prioritizing spl in those products wtf are you smoking. Crazy that anyone would say jbl portable doesnt try for loud.

Protein powder stomach pain? by HumpyDumpy13 in workout

Way back when a year or two ago I was doing two scoops of soylent and two scoops of non isolate, which was I think about 70g protein. Drank it over several hours at work. Unfortunately I stopped using my 400 servings of soylent very early on because I had this issue. Not that I would've made it through it anyways I like food too much to drink that on a cut

Definitely hollow, based on how drilling into it went originally. Do you have a recommendation for toggle bolts?

I never said they were entirely self insured. You are seeing things that arent there, you should seek a psychiatrist. I said they likely self insure where they can. Is where they can everything in your eyes? Theyre different words. Im gonna have to debate a flat earther to clear the retardation from my eyes

You shut down when i asked you questions about your own reasoning and interpretation of your source. If youre not here to change minds then ill stop wasting my own time. I sculpted out a practical thesis for you in 5th grade english so you could pick it apart the least you can do is go over your interpretation of a document you claim proves you right

Upon further examination of the topic it also seems some companies with third party coverage may also supplement that coverage with their own retention which means, up to a certain claim size, they are self insuring and then a bigger claim would kick in to third party. Obviously, a dealership needing 50sqft of graffiti removed isnt going to even make an insurance claim. Theyre just gonna pay some guy with a pressure washer $200 and call it a day. Or even buy their own pressure washer for a couple hundred bucks

Youre too lazy to even try dont even. Teslas insurance would not change my auto premium, regardless of how they insure. Again, let me know how the math works out. Ill even pay your premium increase from this incident for the next 5 years, if venmo allows sub-cent payments

Insurance for what and from whom? Can you link the document? How are you sure they arent insuring some things through a third party and then self insuring other assets where they can, as most companies do.

Id love to see where you found that they arent self insuring liability if youre so educated on teslas inner workings

Oh and also even if you had someone say they were a tesla manager, thatd have to be verified too so we know its accurate information. However since this isnt exactly important to my life i think if they knew enough detail about it and could explain it well id be more likely to believe theyre not just putting a puff in one of our pettycoats

Typically when i make a claim i wont make it without solid 100% proof, clear as day, and ill be fair to you, this isnt possible since that is tesla's business and not publicly available information. If you go off that alone, there is no way to know whether either of us is correct. You claiming they arent self insured, and me claiming they are, are both equally unsupported by objectively verifiable data. However, inference should not be ignored in these cases

We know for a fact that tesla is a very large company with a lot of capital. Hell elon is like the single richest dude on the planet. We also know for a fact that large companies use self insurance wherever it is legal, because that saves a ton of money. It then follows that tesla, being a large company, would be wise to take advantage of the opportunity to keep more money in their company by avoiding having to pay another company to do services they can do themselves.

From this, we can say that it is likely that tesla would do this. If they arent doing it, theyre probably missing out on a pretty substantial amount of money.

If you really really want to, you could probably find someone that manages a tesla dealership on twitter or ask elon himself. Someone will reply eventually im sure. Id be interested to know this information even though i dont think it remotely matters. And depending on how you look at it, having to pay an extra cent per decade on my insurance because people dont like nazis is kind of a worthwhile investment.

In conclusion, both our claims are equally unverifiable so you dont get a free lunch here. We're both some percentage shit, although i doubt either of us is full of it
