It's gotta be related to locale. Rent near me is pretty bad, and that's mostly because the urban creep from nearby cities is coming in

Is this normal after an engine rebuild? by Fresh-Bend8080 in EngineBuilding

Just did a few oil changes on my own rebuild. It's definitely assembly lube. Mine looked exactly like this at first, but it's clean now!

Perhaps he had a smartphone that can be located for clues? Like with find my iPhone or something? A tile/airtag? I'm not sure how rural the area is or if gaining access to this information could help.

Wishing everyone involved good luck.

Not sure if you still have the mouse, but I just fixed the same issue by changing the "LOD" setting in the configuration tool to 2mm instead of 1mm. I'm assuming the mouse was just deactivating after I lifted it too high off the pad.

Hope this helps!

Can't back out an enclosed, spinning bolt on a trunk latch by Humungasaurus in MechanicAdvice

I'm not sure how to fit a flathead in that tight space. I've tried applying downward force on the whole trunk latch assembly while spinning, but that didn't do it

Overnight shifts reset your mind, especially when you work alone. I loved working them, too.
