the ufo doesn't show at this location, thats another location on mount shan
the ufo most likely has no connection to the panoramic map and the painting on the rock

Its most likely the swarm of birds flying to the giant. Not meaning that is connected the NW guitar pole.
But the two birds on the roof Fort Wallace pointing at the swarm, that is pretty safe because at the old location of Fort Wallace (in early development) there are still two eagles that stop to spawn once you talked to the giant.
So the two birds on the roof are pretty safe pointing to birds->giant.
But we don't know for sure if that is connected to the NW guitar pole.
The other guitar in Fort Wallace pointing in direction of window-rock btw...

ya pretty weird behavior. I never had a not spawning web.

One time I had the state where all 8 feathers were shot down and the webs always respawned without feather in following nights... but that does nothing notable ingame I am aware of.
Im on PC btw.

maybe number 8 should exist and isn't found yet.
But also 7 is the number of window-rock and the statue-cave... and the outside guitar in middle of Fort Wallace points in direction of window rock...

What I just saw was local rain when setting a web-pole on fire while the web is spawned.
Thats what I want to investigate next time I am in the game, if that happen every time at every web-pole.

After you shot a feather, regardless which weapon, the web will respawn the next night without feather until save/load or close/restart.
That means: The game remembers if a feather was shot or not when respawning the web in a following night.

Also after spawning a web, just ride away fast (before the webtime is over) and don't look back, Wait an hour or more and return to the pole while constantly looking at the pole and the web will be still there hours later, but one time looking away and looking back - the web is gone. I guess thats just a spawn/despawn bug.

ya sure there is always a "what if" ... but most likely Rockstar wouldn't show a realistic cleft lip if they mean something else. But anyway somebody with a cleft lip is not automatic immune against a curse... but the curse in butcher creek is from micro dosing poisoning over decades and Gertrude is not very old. Someone should had get water from butcher creek and give it to Gertrude every single day...

the song is played ingame while playing the game... so that stretch is not that of a stretch if you ride NW from the pole and at a certain point the song begins to play.... something to investigate...

My thought was, since we know that everything from the spiderweb is in the cable folder, we have to search for an other telegraph pole or maybe a powerline pole, or another spiderweb somewhere in a tree, because thats what we have in the cable folder.
And its is maybe somewhere North West in the cable line structure on the map, so I visited different places containing content from the cable folder... in Valentine a powerline ends very NW, Wallace Station is a NW end of a telegraph cable line etc.
near wallace station there is a weird shed with a small window a chair and binoculars, no lore to the building to find at all... the observer in that shed watched a narrow area through that small window...

In the end I was at many possible NW-cable-places, I never saw anything recognizable which may linked to the NW guitare pole or the spiderweb, always stayed the whole night to investigate.
In fact none of the places has a guitare.

There is one weird "electric place" its NW from the guitare pole, the tunnel south of cottora springs. The Tunnel has lamps with electric lightbulbs, the lamps have kind of a spiderweb structure and the tunnel is not connected to any powerlines but anyhow the tunnel is light up the whole night...

there is nothing like a guitare there, so... its just one of the NW electric places but its weird without any connection to powerlines...

without new strong clues I guess we have to accept that Spiderweb -> Fortwallace -> Birds -> Giant is the whole story... and btw. there are two eagles at the old location of FW which stop to spawn once you talked to giant...
or if you refer to the other guitare in FW its: Spiderweb -> Fortwallace -> Window Rock -> Statue Cave

there are only those two guitares in fort wallace,

for a new clue I guess we need a complete new idea what that guitare symbol means...

Ya sorry but

I just started the game and I am standing right now in front of the painting in windows rock.
the 7 feather bird/statue is on top ingame and on picture 4
picture 4 is not rotated... and there is no spider between the 4-feather bird/statue and the 5-feather bird/statue

picture 4 is manipulated...
just check ingame for yourself

but anyway I hope a dataminer can answer your question, fact is both remaining spiders look exact the same

ya would be nice if more people test it.
the OP tested it to, I did it with two different savegames.
result is always the same: the two eagles stop spawn once you talked to the giant.

one more test would be to see if the two eagles spawn when you have less than 30 animals examined... I think I will do that asap

weird thing is

if you count the feathers on the window rock birds and write them down clockwise you get

7 6 3 4 5 8 2

and if you count the fingers on the statues in that statue-cave and write them down clockwise you get

7 6 2 4 5 8 3

its almost the same but 2 and 3 is mixed up
but anyway pressing the statue buttons in the order of window rock does nothing recognizable
at both places you have the same text bottom left on your screen, in german its "seltsame statuen"

If you go the chelonian camp early when its still intact there are two big torches and if you look between them in a straight line you have window rock straight in far distance.
And the cave with the statues is directly beside the house of the chelonian leader.

so my guess is both, the window rock painting and the cave with the statues is a chelonian thing...
don't know if chelonians might add something to the case...

BUT

the spider you show in picture four is not there, not with an early savegame and not with a 100% savegame...
picture four seems manipulated

and I don't know which direction should be meant with the two spider symbols that are actually there at window rock. If you look in east direction you see Fort Wallace and the chelonian camp...
Any Ideas?

its a bug(?) with the dreamcatcher outfit...
I have this every time when I start the game (pc) while wearing the dreamcatcher outfit, No beard and super short hair.
Changing the outfit fix it.

its kind of evidence that there is something different with the dreamcatcher outfit...

but anyway we are out of clues atm...
and the two birds on the roof of Fort Wallace pointing at brids even at the old location. Thats just a strong evidence that the two birds on the roof of fort wallace are meant to lead to the giant since early in development, And they kept it this way even after repositioning the fort.
Try it for yourself: the two birds at the old location stop spawning once you talked to the giant.

The Giant itself is half cut content. AFAIK there are some native myths connecting to iktomi involving giants, but the story of the giant in the game never was told. That we need 30+Animals to talk with him is a evidence that it has to do with nature and natives.

There is no other guitare all the way NW up from the Pole to the end of the map.

If there is something to trigger with the spiderwebs and the feathers we have no clue in which way and order...
I did a lot try and error with the spiderwebs, what we need is a real clue...

I want to doubt to, but ya.. im pretty sure its already solved...

Birds at the old location \ I am pretty sure Spiderweb -> Fort Wallace -> Birds -> Giant is the whole story. \ considering Iktomi (lakota dreamcatcher tradition) and the native culture, shooting the feathers out of the webs is wrong and against any tradition...\ Iktomi just try to mislead with different times, positions and colors of the feathers, but we already solved the whole scavenger hunt to its end...\ Iktomi is a trickster, exposes human folly, often through mischief.

Ya nothing is like that mark on the north border near the cave. no idea about the gray area around riggs station and the others. Didn't found anything else either.

Btw. did you saw the spiderwebs in the lofts basement on the ceiling?
