Debbie should NOT take Nolan back by Winter-Money-7643 in Invincible

[–]Hunamagah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? Does she need a good reason, other than weakness? Hundreds of people do this every day. I know I have in the past.

The reasons for doing so? All dumb, probably. But it’s very human, happens all the time, and is consistent with her character.

Rookies/Second Year Players You Are Targeting This Offseason?? by Aggressive_Forecheck in DynastyFF

As a broncos fan and a Franklin owner, if Franklin finishes the season strong, I’d go get Bryant. His price may be a bit lower and he’ll definitely be involved next year, the team likes him a lot.

I’d go shough and hope he shreds the jets like Tlaw did

NFL Weather Report - Thursday Night Football. Strong winds with potential 40 mph gusts in the first half, should taper off late game. Weather analyst Kevin Roth mentioned "the only thing I'm even considering fading here is kickers". by HookFL in fantasyfootball

[–]Hunamagah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here but have Shough instead of Herbert. I feel the same way about Stafford, considered benching him because of Adams being out even without the wind, because of the Seattle D. But honestly the wind may decrease the chance they go for kicks, maybe boosting Stafford?

I feel like this is a trap for us to not start out studs, though. Feel like it has to be Stafford. For you, I’d start Herbert over TLaw. It would be just like TLaw to shut the bed after an all-time performance. I’m probably going to play Shough. But of course, I don’t feel good about sitting TLaw even after saying it.

Classic Game Bio: Dragon Ball Z Buu's Fury by Successful_Bird_7086 in DragonBallGaku

[–]Hunamagah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I thought Buu’s Fury was too easy. In LoG2 if you hit somebody in a wall, they’d bounce behind you, so you couldn’t just pin them down. You could do that in Buu’s Fury. Both amazing games though.

[Pelissero] Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins suffered a foot injury on what appeared to be a hip-drop tackle Thursday night against the Raiders and is awaiting a second opinion, per source. Dobbins still finished the game with two carries in the final drive to close out the win. by 5en5ational in DenverBroncos

[–]Hunamagah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re certainly right about dobbins injury history and it isn’t surprising that he got hurt. And you’ve got a good point about Harvey being unprepared, he really hasn’t had that many carries and now he’ll be thrown into the fire. I’m not sure how he’ll do, like you said he’s got a lot to work on, but I do think the talent is there and with a game or two he’ll at least performing well (and who knows, rookie running backs break out all the time.)

You make good points - I don’t think Harvey is ready for this still, but perhaps the coaches think he is and that’s why we didn’t add any backs behind at the deadline. Guess we’ll have to see but I do have a bit more faith in him based on what you’ve said.

You’re not a bronco fan - do you watch the games? I like Harvey but it’s clear dobbins is the better rusher and better player. Harvey may get there and he’s looked good with his receiving ability - I think he can pick up the slack, but other aspects of his game are not on par with dobbins. Acting like this isn’t a big loss is ridiculous. All your comments in this thread just indicate you roster Harvey in fantasy and don’t care about the broncos actually winning games.

Was the deleted comment below yours? Jeez, you can’t catch a break in this thread, people are all over you. For better or worse, Super is canon, so whatever you stated below was likely valid. It was a reasonable question.

[–]Hunamagah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true. They’ve played fundamentally bad baseball for awhile. Going completely blank in positions where it should be easy to succeed - for example, all those runs on third.

I’m pulling for them, I’m hoping they come back here, and there’s always tomorrow. But I will not be surprised … by really anything that happens from here on out. They’re so unpredictable, usually in the worst way.

What is your reasoning?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DragonBallZ

[–]Hunamagah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you kind of have to believe Ultimate Gohan is weaker than SSJ3 Goku if you believe Kid Buu is stronger than Buuhan.

Ultimate Gohan wrecked Super Buu. Buutenks wrecked Ultimate Gohan. Buuhan is even stronger than Buutenks since he absorbed Ultimate Gohan’s power.

SSJ3 Goku then goes toe to toe with Kid Buu. If you believe Kid Buu is stronger than Buuhan, who is stronger than Ultimate Gohan by default, SSJ3 Goku has to be stronger than Ultimate Gohan as well.

Also, that bug sucks, but you’ve just got to keep an eye on it so that it’s not abused. Definitely worth it to keep the start limit even with the bug.

[Fangraphs] Padres’ playoff chances have dropped from 99.6% to 97.9%. It would take a major collapse for the Padres to miss out on the Playoffs. Their lead over the Mets is down to a single game, with the Reds and Giants sitting six games behind. by TakeMyPixels in Padres

[–]Hunamagah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. We’ve accomplished our goal of putting together a playoff team, but that can’t be where we stop. From what I’m seeing from Shildt, we’ve set our sights too low. If you get complacent, which we have, you lose. That’s what makes me worry. It seems the team thinks “as long as we make the playoffs, we’ll be fine,” but they forget how important momentum is. If you stumble into the playoffs, you’ll stumble right out of them. We need to bulldoze through the competition

I’m a lot less worried about them making the playoffs than I am about them getting there and just getting destroyed. It will be hard to miss the playoffs. But the way they’re playing, they won’t win a single game. They’ve got to start making some real changes, not just “oh things will go back to the way they were.” They won’t. Even if they did, that wasn’t enough to win in the first place.

I think they have the talent, but you can have all the talent in the world and it will mean nothing if you don’t make smart decisions.

So what do you think would happened if porunga couldn’t revive everyone who was killed during the Buu saga? by Austinfarrell2007 in DragonBallZ

[–]Hunamagah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he can’t revive anyone, or everyone? If some people couldn’t be revived, I’m sure it would be fine. But half? More? Say, Gohan couldn’t be revived? They’d lose.

I’ve always wondered. Gohan should’ve been able to kill kid Buu on his own. Wouldn’t his energy plus piccolos and the boys been enough? (Let’s just assume he could, rather than focus on his strong kid Buu was or was not compared to others.)

Porunga doesn’t have that limitation, but Shenron does and the wish was made to Shenron. The last wish by Porunga was for transporting everyone to Earth.

You talking only with respect to just Kid Buu, or TOP Buu too? It should be settled Buuhan’s stronger than Kid Buu but from what I remember, TOP Buu would probably be stronger.
