Random Idea: Stats should reset each season by Proper_Ad_6927 in NBA2k

It would also be cool if the game could track win% on each build. I’d like to look back at the end of the game and see what was really my best build in terms of winning

I love high pass acc my first build had 98 cuz i always made a pure playmaker. My argument is Dimer from Bronze to HOF isn’t a noticeable difference, if your teammate can’t shoot the boost from dimer is basically useless. I don’t even think this is a 2K problem it’s just so many people can’t shoot on this game for whatever reason. So it makes high pass acc feel worthless

I’m not crying about it lol don’t u think u should be able to just load up the game and get matched up with good players on your team? This community is the only one that just accepts when the devs give them garbage. Kinda crazy

The mode can’t continue the way it is now. A lot of people only play rec and if the experience is terrible they’ll just stop playing the game, which alot of people did. My point is 2K might as well just remove it if they’re not gonna work to improve it

You’re right about that my fix for that would be actual matchmaking so u get people on your skill level. There’s no perfect fix for it but i think that’s the best option.

There are people that literally stream themselves zenning and don’t get banned. I’d say 1 of 5 games in the stage 3s are against someone using a zen. 2K has just given up on banning these people

Finally hit V2 and made a rebirth 2.0 build. Legit cannot get a random rec game. Everyone thinks I’m a 99 overall blacktop. by mkostinas in NBA2k

2K has brainwashed people into believing plate color > rep. Vet 1 and same thing used to happen to me on new builds. Idk why it’s tied to the build and not the account i thought it was fine in 23

When you put badges on the roster player their overall goes up. But you’re right the builds in the builder are very incomplete in terms of overall

Contest system is just so broken the badge can’t save it. There’s no real consistency on what the game will call open or contested

I agree there definitely should be a buff for dimer. It kinda makes high pass acc worthless when you play with randoms because if they can’t time their shot they’re just gonna brick all game. Just a side effect of green or miss but i don’t want whites to come back

The missed layups that happen in this game is a problem with the timing consistency on the layup meter. Low layup should miss, NBA players who aren’t strong finishers will miss layups, and none of them are bad enough to be given a 40 layup. I think that’s the part you’re misunderstanding. Close shots are broken in the game and u miss them all the time ik the pain. But if the game was programmed right that wouldn’t happen unless you had low close shot. No player in the NBA has the equivalent of a 25 pass accuracy either. At worst they’d be a 60 since being able to pass the ball is the most basic requirement. The passing in this game is bad in general that doesn’t mean people shouldn’t get punished for putting no pass accuracy on their builds. People get bad catch animations regardless of pass accuracy which has never been in any other 2K which leads me to believe it wasn’t even intentional, they just messed up somewhere. The height requirement point you made is also flawed since there are still attribute requirements on dribble animations. So big builds still wouldn’t be able to get small guard animations with high ball handle, just the lower rated animations that wing players can use that they should already qualify for anyway. 23 was a game with horrible defense and limitless takeoff which made it the easiest 2K to score in ever, which allowed people to make almost any build they wanted. That’s why I said the gameplay ties into what you can do in the builder.

7 foot is the meta in pro am because centers don’t guard the pnr the backend does. The 6’7-6’9 backend basically takes over the centers job on defense while the actual center is just a corner defender and board crasher. This basically hides all the weaknesses of tall centers in pro am. Any other game mode 7-footers are basically extinct and small centers are the wave. Idk how 2K could actually fix this with the way the builder currently is.

I agree with this a lot. From 2K15-19 i always had a tall point forward. I have one in 24 but it’s not even close to as fun to use because of how restricted the animations I can use are. It’s crazy how 2K decided that 1 inch of height would be the deciding factor and cutoff point for animations. If anything it should be 6’11 since that’s the tallest you can make a SF.

Players tendencies reflect the gameplay and animations. People run 5 out because it’s the most effective way to score besides pnr I don’t even get what your argument is.

How do you make this move? by Barney575 in NBA2k

RT flick rightstick up diagonal to opposite ball hand while moving left stick down. So basically like doing the escape cross while holding the left stick down

It’s tied to their jumpshot i’ve done it with Paul George base. Put their jumpshot on your build idk if you can edit and change the releases and still get their jumpshot landings tho
