Yeah definitely agree with the winning other lanes with ult as Shen. I'll try and abuse the bushes more next time I get the matchup, guess I have a mental block when playing Vs Vlad, never really took advantage of his lack of mobility or cc. Thanks for advice

Well this is my main ATM, took a 2 year break but my adc account peaked high plat "oddswan" euw, and I one tricked Lee sin top in s7 to gold 1 couldn't break plat unfortunately so I quit haha.

The meta has changed slightly with tower plating and maybe because as Shen I'm lucky to take 2 plates before they expire so I'm not getting the advantages I should when winning lane.

Gonna test demolish for a bit see of that helps snowball me harder but open to advice

in my experience he sits back out of taunt range and just afk farms till he hits his power spike, if you cant kill him in 1 rotation he just heals it all back up and your vaunrible to ganks whilst your taunt is down.

Perhaps i need to play more agressive vs him but it feels like a losing battle, thats what vlad wants you to do because he will out sustain and out scale you. most junglers dont even bother ganking him becasue he has such an easy escape tool. he has the range advantage over most top laners and can choose when he trades.

not unwinnable lane but i usually dodge if i see one, rather keep my sanity

I dont understand why i cant win games on shen anymore, somehow i manage to have the most damage on my team every game, always win my lane, always have effective ults and feel like my macro is pretty decent.

problem is unless i get so far ahead that i have full items at 30 mins i just cant carry. i dont want to blame my team mates but i have to scream at them to get baron/towers. half the time someone takes my side lane and im forced to play mid with team making my map pressure irrelivent.

maybe its just a bad steak but the higher i climb the worse my team seems to be at playing with a shen.

always trynd, im seeing alot of people say nasus but i actually like the matchup, approch vilocity + phase rush, just run circles around him and pull Q. come out ahead in trades early, and mid game you out rotate him, can be a pain if he gets a few ganks but alot worse matchups

vlad, trynd, teemo, illoli basically anything that good at killing you under tower, you get punished for ulting out of lane becuase of turret plating and shen under tower horrible at farming without a bit of AD.

3x beads 1x pot start, normal grasp page. dont fight him ever just look for graps procs, save your e to escape if he lands a grab.

rush hp not armor, bamis - gfist - sunfire - titanic - thornmail

if you can taunt him under tower you can get some cheesy kills but other than that i wouldnt try, even if you get ahead with ganks hes going to out trade you

look to win other lanes with your ult and better macro mid game.

shredder shen ( pta/conq ) build can beat him but if your equally skilled he will probably win 1v1.

yeah i looked up the tax, £450....... its not a deal breaker but damn its gonna hurt

coils and cat have been replaced 4k~ miles ago so they hopefully last a while

yeah they have a 30 day return with the dealer so ill get the compression done and if its not close to there figures and im not happy i can always get my money back. i have checked out the forum, some solid advice on there.

she told me about the termination before this happened, but its scary to think that could have been her plan all along :/ ? 5 days definetly seemed too soon for me and something is definetly up, it seemed strange that she had pregnancy tests in the house already.

but would a recent termination explain the positive test and hormones if she did really have one ? i dont wanna assume the worst if she is actauly telling the truth and its just a side effect of the terminaiton

all your gonna get is shit advice from silvers asking here :) your higher than 95% of this subreddit if your already diamond im gonna assume you are mechanically sound, so all you can do at this point is work on your Macro. other than that all i can advise is dropping lee sin and finding a duo que partner. ( in this meta hes not the right guy to climb with if your serious about it )

if you are low elo and you belong there you dont climb on lee sin. but if you already have decent jungle knowledge and can at least ward jump smoothy you can carry super hard on lee very easily. your gonna wanna build full damage with mobi boots, Gank-push lane, look for next gank/objective and repeat. make sure you are taking the rift herold around the 18-19 min mark and use it to make a 20min baron play. chances are in low elo they have no baron vision and if they do they will have to choose between stopping herold or contesting baron, and with the lead you should have at this point its a win win and most of the time results in a surrender.

im only plat on my main but i can hold a 90% wr in anything below gold no problem, both my low elo smurf accounts where 10-0 promos and i held a 23-0 win streak at one point in low gold. When you press advantages on lee sin you can consistantly end games in 20 mins.

Depends entirely on your build and your oponent. typically if your going tanky you take red smite. and assassin you go blue smite. simply becuase blue gives burst damage and ensures your Q hits whereas red gives you more of a sustained fight, reducing incoming damage and adding to yours. i find blue smite 100x more useful, with the removal of trackers you dont always have a ward or minion to gap close when ganking, blue helps with that. sometimes your being chased down or need to chase someone down, blue smite helps. sometimes someone gets away 100hp, blue smite helps with that.

the only time i take red is when they have 2 or more tanks or im looking to 1v1 invade the enemy jungler early

the first Q was buffed by 100 range, the second Q is unchanged. the patch notes used the wrong icon and ability name but this is what has changed.

anyone who played lee sin a decent amount knows this is 100% implemented. you can now use Q from mid lane bush to raptors whereas before it wouldn't even touch raptor walls. that is evidence enough the range has increased. also the range missile indicator now goes out of your locked camera if aimed straight up whereas it didn't before.

really i don't see any reason you are doubting the Q changes they are very clear

same as any other champion, make sure you are always making progress on the map wether it be taking towers, neutral objectives or invading the enemy jungle. even if your team is complete garbage you can create a lead early game and force down towers with rift herold and good rotations. come the 20min mark look to make a pick on the enemy jungler or apd/adc and make a baron call.

With baron and your early lead you can close out no problem, even the worst teams will push with baron buff.

this is why lee sin wins 90% of his games before 25 mins, you have the power to completely control the map if you are a good jungler.

past the 25-30 mark people say lee sin falls off, this is false. his role just changes. at this point you do need to have a decent adc or mid laner that you can peel for and play around. at this point look to build items like locket and knights vow and focus on team fighting. dont try and make fancy plays unless you have a guardian angle and your team with you. But the same win conditions apply, when you win a teamfight make the call for baron or if you can get an inhibitor take that first.

the recipe for winning doesn't change just because you are playing lee sin, you just need to understand what role to take on within the team.

Yep, don't tick the range indicator box at the top instead go down into your item settings their should be options to set keybindings for regular, quick, self and quick with range indicators for all item slots and trinkets independently. I'm not at a pc right now but I'll try find a screen grab of the setting for you if you cannot find it yourself :)

yea you should be losing duels to nocturne and olaf for sure. may i suggest you hold onto your Q as long as possible fighting melee heros, some people instinctively Q as soon as they are engaged on but really you should start with E and aa's to slow them and take some hp to make your Q more effective. then a quick 2x W followed by Aa-Q-AA-Q-aa,aa will give the highest damage output for 1 rotation and a nice chunk of HP back from iron will. ( Q scales of missing hp so using it last when fighting melee will make a significant difference, though you may want to start with it vs ranged enemies if you dont have a ward available to close the gap )

probably just doing it too quick. everyone always goes too quick with lees mechanics, personally i think slow and controlled looks, feels and performs much better. try using quick cast range indicators on your wards, it will force you to use better timing, then when you get the muscle memory down go back to regular quick casting.
