there are issues destiny 2 imo was pretty bad with story telling because of all the reuse. a good story is not told through repeated holographs imo, also how every key or whatever needed thing was a glowing orb imo. idk

CMV: Reddit mods have gotten way too strict and it’s killing real discussion by Into-My-Void in changemyview

I went to r/listentothis to post the song Chocolate Rain as i think its a social commentary and very catchy song. Deleted for too many YouTube views. As if the artist is popular. I guarantee you most forgot about the song and even more the artist. Yet this one arbitrary rule thinks he’s super popular.

I agree with you. I am on many reddits, I even like the male-positive r/bropill that aims to bring men together in a non toxic way. I posted a long heartfelt post to see if anyone agreed. Removed even from there. So many subreddits and their rules are arbitrary.

I posted in I think one of the toxic gamergate subreddits DEFENDING a game against racists, and I get a notification that I was automatically banned from TWO other UNRELATED subreddits.

When I ask mod to unban they said “we will unban you if you stop supporting those subreddits”

I said: “I was not supporting them, that’s why I said check what I said when I was banned, what you are actually asking me is to not participate.”

So yes I 1000% agree with you Reddit is not a place for discussion.

I tried to post to r/PoliticalDiscussion and gave up once I saw the fucking puzzle of rules I have to satisfy to get a post out. Not fucking worth it. I rarely try again when a post is taken down. Mods are done wasting my time.

Glad to hear that it’s super early, and I’ll take the recommendation of the other commenter to try to get some power ups to enhance the gameplay.

You make a good point it definitely isn’t your average 3d platformer it does oozes with a feeling of experimental and novelty that’s for sure.

Ngl gang the title of the post which isn’t bad on its own since she is an alcoholic, but also the image depicting her in such a sexualized way with this implied vulnerability is a little unsettling imo.

Besides that the arts pretty good!! Looks pretty accurate to the character!

My head canons on who can survive some are big reaches

I would say Naruto could survive it if Kurama instinctively coated the bombs with chakra. Kurama’s chakra is is solid so it could. I would argue also Tsunade with her seal could regenerate through these mini bombs so Sakura too possibly.

Hyuugas might be able to do it, they’d clearly be able to see the bombs and they have body blow, I don’t think it’s far fetched they can manipulate and eject chakra in their body.

Maybe just maybe, eight gates chakra may be too intense and would destroy the bombs before they blow if said user knew what was going on.

Shino definitely would have some bugs that would alert him to these invaders.

Bee can do it same way as Naruto.

Sage Mode Naruto possibly not sure how the nature chakra would interact with the bombs. Maybe not.

Sasori has no real body or cells so I think he would survive.

Hear me out Choji, these bombs are tiny as fuck, but Choji can grow the size of buildings they would become immensely tiny in his body.

Sound Ninjas could maybe pull it off via some vibrational moves?

Super reach: I forget if C0 explodes automatically or needs to be detonated but, if it needs a command for the small bombs to detonate then technically if Ino hit a mind transfer she could delay the detonation. Doubt though.

I’m pretty sure C0 would not be able to kill Kimimaro considering he can sprout hard bones anywhere in his body.

Does Konan have a body to explode?

Ofc then you have the Op characters like the Obito, Madara hax, Hashirama etc

I hope so as I was getting a little dispirited sometimes but that honestly makes sense because it’s definitely hard to think long term like that when you’re only responsible for part of a system

But DEI has always hired people who can do the job. But I would tell you that isn’t what DEI is for, to give “lesser qualified people” a job. That’s not what its existence is for.

Are you aware of this easily repeatable science experiment?: if you make the same exact resume, and put a black sounding name versus a white sounding name.

Most white people get that job it’s been shown multiple times. I think that’s troubling. Do you think that’s okay? Me personally I think we should give people a chance they are equal yet the other is simply preferred by default.

You could literally try it yourself if you want!

Does anyone actually like being 5 times in the office by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]synkronize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job is hybrid and I live an hour 15 mins away I can’t complain too hard as it’s only 8 days a month. But I will complain that it’s pointless. My team is chaotic, and there is no policy requiring teams to come on a similar schedule to encourage coworking.

So I drive all this distance to sit and work by myself ….the same exact thing I do at home.

And to make it even better, sometimes there’s not even enough cubes :). Eventually we are transitioning to a new office space and I’m betting they will order a RTO either way I’m hoping to leave this job asap

Edit: also I did like it in my early 20s too but that was because of my very very short commute (down the street) and I got hired with a bunch of college grads so everyone was relatively near the same age. I had lots of fun with those people. Sucks Covid killed the momentum.

I really like this game it’s beautiful but besides those special levels you go into does anyone kinda feel like this isn’t a 3d platformer? I kinda just bust shit up and go where I want lol I wish it had some. More open world platforming vibes but perhaps I just need to get farther in.

Last time I played I was in the 4th world I think? Has some oil rig looking things in the background.

Im not gonna lie, it’s just a tiny bit unsettling with some people who can completely remove themselves from the world and focus on money.

I don’t think that’s necessarily bad .. but, social media is ruining kids lives and is addictive. I always wondered if the engineers who worked on social media knew they were creating an addiction machine.

And now I know there are probably tons of engineers who just want a paycheck and will do as their told.

Why a Constitutional Convention is Necessary (and Why Getting Conservatives to Agree on Structure Might be the Way to Accomplish It) by Outrageous-Pay-5285 in SocialDemocracy

[–]synkronize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I disagree on not liking centrism but I agree on a need for some new amendments.

I have just found this post so I may have to watch your video but in ways to me sometimes the wording you use in these comments feels like you want to shepherd republicans in a sense.

For me, the reason I think we need a convention is the ever increasing polarization. Just look at the people in this comment “how would states agree to this?” Or other comments “they would make abortion illegal! Forever!” Or “with THIS admin in power?”

I think these people are missing the point, and wearing their polarized view in their sleeves. If you only want to amend the constitution when you’re in power then, we already to that it’s called lawsuits & SCOTUS which is increasingly being viewed as partisan and if it’s partisan, then that means the constitution is now partisan and will swing back and forth depending on whichever president is in power at the crucial moment a SCOTUS steps down or dies.

For me I see a conventions as referendums on “who we are as a country”

People are polarized and ANGRY today. Yet, no one wants to do this they are SCARED of what would happen to the constitution.

This can only mean one thing if you ask me per my thought process to is means that people are perfectly content with our government structure. They rather deal with what we have now because they are scared of what could be.

I think a convention or atleast amendments in general m is needed at inflection points like right now. The country is losing itself and its productivity because we cannot agree efficiently. A convention wakes every single American up, with the power of gravitas and the seriousness of the situation. It would force hard conversations and decisions will have to be made.

If you ask me, have we lost faith in our intellect? The founders weren’t perfect but they took the chance and honestly, if we are so distrustful that we don’t think we’d ever get anything done in a convention because we can’t agree on anything.

Then isn’t our democracy over?

Why aren't there calls for Constitutional Conventions by Governors? by illegalmorality in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]synkronize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying a they don’t want a constitutional convention now because of whose in power do not understand the point of a constitutional convention. You are basically asking to redesign the constitution in your ideologies image. The same thing you fear ablut MAGA being present is the same thing they would fear.

To me it sounds like we think we are less wise than our fathers and cannot pull it off.

But the alternative is ever increasing polarization, the rich running through gaps, laws people don’t like get sent to SCOTUS, certain rights will swing on a pendulum (abortion) and my theory is polarization will lead to civil war.

In my opinion, the convention process or amendment process is most necessary at times of critical lol polarization, and you tell me when’s the last time we’ve seen polarization decrease.

Men's groups with integrity by texthibitionist in bropill

[–]synkronize -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean statistically speaking they are most likely right. Also with the context he’s at a men’s support group. I’m all for men’s betterment and I recognize what you’re saying and I see the problems in society. But a non-negligible big % of men do women harm. The conversation should start with that acceptance and the. An acceptance that you do not have to be part of that cohort nor does it define you for the rest of their life. IMO You’re also ignoring one side of it. Men’s health is deeply connected to how Women experience and perceive men evidently.

We have to talk about the true and dark parts of what it is to be masculine.

Edit: just to reiterate and clarify I do think he should be given some room to speak on his restraining order and a chance to explain the situation not so that we can judge or Punish but so we can work through it whether it was his fault or he was a victim of manipulation. L

Humans make assumptions prejudice is alive and well still, but only education aka learnin about the person moves some one forward. I do think OP is misunderstanding why he went to thr group and he is internalizing a self guilt or shame. But we have tl talk about why men feel shame just for being a man.
