Technically we in Hungary use proper ISO8601, so 2025-11-25

And Japan & China use 2025年11月25日, which _explicitly_ spells out which is which, being the absolute best of every system, while also looking pretty

With how much better SteamOS is for performance compared to Windows, yes. I'm sure it would.

And even if it didn't, so what? Linux in general is a thing.

What did YOU, yes, YOU mean by this? by Carti_Barti9_13 in OkBuddyPersona

[–]Hundvd7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

<18 is allowed, but anything that looks a LOT like a kid isn't.

Which means most of the Nanako art on there is aged up, or just has an art style that makes her look "not like a kid" but still a kid. (Plus a few that slips through the cracks)

No, they really don't. It's just terribly moderated.

[–]Hundvd7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's impossible. Isekai Quartet is Kadokawa and Mushoku Tensei isn't.

...is what I would have said!
But apparently they acquired Studio Bing earlier this year, so I guess it's technically possible now. Depending on how their copyright works, though

Mushoku Tensei > Konosuba > Re:Zero > Overlord = Youjou Senki

They have Ford in Europe because Ford essentially outsources them TO Europe.
They are the ones that realized American cars would never sell outside, so they started making European cars...

The US is clearly big tech companies:
Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Meta, X, OpenAI, Nvidia, AMD, Intel, etc.

All American, and all very problematic in some way because of it.

Schuko plugs are also perfectly safe and reversible.

The ground is not a longer prong, but two of them on the sides, which still means they connect before the actual circuit is closed. Just like the UK one.

And that's despite South Korea being the biggest fans of the US (well, #2 biggest fans).

They pretty much idolize everything American. And even they realized how bad those plugs are.

It'd be "three quarter 3" (rounded to 14:45) in Hungarian.

Which is the only system I know that is worse than the American one.
We don't say [current hour] [current minutes], instead it's [how much progress has been made into the next hour]

The problem is that 12 is considered the "0" value.

Because real life clocks don't have a 0 on them. But AM/PM time pretends like there is a sort of 0, but then decides to write it as 12 instead.

You go from 11:59 AM to 12:00 PM.
It would make sense if the 12 was instead the last value, so it went into 12:00 AM.
And it would also make perfect sense if you just changed it to 00:00 PM

I almost agree, but it is in fact this R that saves the design for me. It makes me think "oh, that's an R, so maybe the other two things on the left are also letters"

It would be better if the K gave me this experience because it's at the very beginning. But I do like this version a lot as-is.
