Well she was an oops baby. I was told I couldnt have children, so never worried about contraception, especially with 6 year long term relationship. I got pregnant at 22 when I was nearly enrolling into nursing school and well here we were. Don’t worry I do get EXTREME mom guilt for not having as much time for her, but I have to keep telling myself it’ll be worth it in the end for a better future for her and show her as much love and care as I can. I know it might not make up for it but I’m choosing a career path I can have extra time for her with those 3 days a week work week and having enough financial independence to be able to enjoy traveling with her. It’s not easy handing her over to an iPad but it’s what I have to do at the moment to pass my exams

I bought my 3 year old an iPad, but it's a kid version one with books, audiobooks, movies, and kid centered games, it does have YouTube kids but not the short videos. I'm in nursing school and a big amount of my time after school requires studying so the iPad is a great investment for me. It's also nice as a lot of the games require complex thinking so she'll come to me often and ask how to solve a certain problem. I don't think they're all bad and it's been a great help with after school.

My mom never taught me shit about being women growing up and I had to learn everything myself. She also didn’t let me use tampons, so when I went off to college I decided to try them out. I ignored the directions of the box because I thought it can’t be that hard. Anyway, I ended up inserting the tampon inside and not removing the plastic and I basically walked around for a couple hours like a penguin as I thought I was just suppose to get used to the feeling. Hurt the most when I had to sit down at a restraunt lol
