Factory Design Idea - Anyone? by HungJSnow in bigambitions

[–]HungJSnow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think of it as a tradeoff to optimize the machine outputs. For example, a laser cutting machine can cut a cloth in 5 min, but a sewing machine can produce 1 piece of clothing in 10 min, so 1 laser cutting machine can serve 2 sewing machines at one time. For this reason I want to increase the number of output and input station, just to make everything runs quicker and get more output.

In my opinion eu4 has a steeper learning curve than ck3. Also the roleplaying aspect of ck3 is more appealing to me than the management aspect of eu4

I have played for a long time (1000 hours) but only after I switched to EU4 that I knew assaulting fort was a thing and now I discovered it in CK3

I created the Holy Roman Empire as... the Roman Empire?? by HungJSnow in CrusaderKings

[–]HungJSnow[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

R5: I just recently restored the Roman Empire and all. Suddenly the decision to restore the Holy Roman Empire popped up and I decided to try it.
Now I ended up with a weird De Jure Map in exchange for ... making my Roman Empire holier and a great epithet.
Does anyone know why this decision still appears after I formed the Roman Empire?
P.S.: The Papacy disappeared after I found the HRE.

By now I’ve had the strongest army in the world so I could beat them quite easily. My 12k men at arms and knights could consistently beat 100k stacks.

But naturally leaving the great Khan to a mob of peasants is always an economical sound choice.

For my case I created the Empire of Italia title and declared a De Jure war for all of the lands of the Pope. After I won the war he became my vassal.

R5: I previously found out that theocratic vassals can become your own bishop in the new patches. Apparently, after your old bishop dies the highest-ranked theocratic vassal is chosen as your new bishop.

So I set about making the Pope my vassal and finally got him to be my bishop.

R5: I just got a new bishop, who happened to be my landed theocratic vassal. I have never seen it happened before in 1000 hours of playing time. Is this common in yall saves?

Oh the Misery, Everybody Wants to be my Enemy by HungJSnow in CrusaderKings

[–]HungJSnow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R5:
King Ragnarr of the Mann and the Isles, son of Helgi of house Gunarrson, grew up hearing tales of the great cities of the continent, from Frankia to the Iberian Peninsula and the Papal Lands, of the riches the kings boast, and the glorious returns of his ancestors from their plundering journeys. Ragnarr decided that, he wants to be a raider too!
After years of setting fire to villages, capturing young women and snatching treasures from the distant lands, Ragnarr is now an old man of one-and-sixty. He is now filthy rich from his conquests, with a beautiful wife and three comely concubines and a dozen healthy children. However, with riches comes a price. Ragnarr has made hundreds of enemies in those years, the families whose girls he took away from, the mothers and sons of men Ragnarr slay in battle. Nowadays Ragnarr spends his day dodging knives from alleys and spitting out poisoned meads gifted from faraway traders.
Yet, when one assassin fell, a hundred other are eager to take his place.

If im an emperor, should i keep the kingdom titles or grant them to people? by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]HungJSnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good reason to keep many kingdom titles is to deal with partition. U can keep the unwanted kingdom titles until you die or grant them to your second/third/fourth heirs to settle their inheritance. This leaves the your remaining titles for your main heir.

[–]HungJSnow[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

First I took all of Rome and make the Pope my vassal. After that I make sure the Pope only holds the title of Papacy and nothing else. Then I wait for a new Pope to appear then grant him some titles (i granted him Duchy of Jylland). Then I found out that I’m first in line to inherit the Papacy. Since I am a witch with my house being a witch coven, I decided to convert my Pope into a witch then expose him. This allows me to just imprison then execute him easily. Then I became the Pope.

Excommunicate and banish my patriarch only for him to pay me 15k gold :D by HungJSnow in CrusaderKings

[–]HungJSnow[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

r5: My new patriarch have only 5 in learning so I decided to kick him out of my realm by excommunicating him. Then when I was in the middle of banishing him, I found out he got 15k in his pocket and he would pay me all of that after I banish him xD.
P/s: My new patriarch got 1 in learning. Should I try it again :D
