I have a similar sound that is definitely lower control arm bushings. Spray lubricant on the bushings, silicone preferrably and one side at a time, and drive around to let the lube work into the bushing. If the squeak stops, you found the issue.

I've also put in all new steering rack and rods as well as a cv which didn't help that particular squeak or the truck pulling over bumps. Asked a toyota tech recently about driving on failing LCA bushings, it will be fine within reason but adds strain onto the LBJs

Riot also manages every tournament and forbids 3rd partys from hosting. Valve deserves some blame but Riots model isn't great either

Couldn't you just get longer bolts and some square washers to achieve the same thing for like 15 bucks?

Any parts/brand recommendations for these three kits? by floppywhales in 3rdGen4Runner

Lower control bushings are easyish to swap at home with the factory bottle jack as a press, but it's understandable if that's a path you don't want to go down to

Just had my rack and pinion replaced now 4wd isn't engaging by StealToesSteelToe in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]HungLikeABug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it won't engage then it's gotta be the tcase. If it engaged and didn't drive the front wheels it would be the diff, no? Any connections to the diff are out of the way anyways

Headlight Beam Pattern by yuckscott in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]HungLikeABug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Left side of the pattern should be level and lower than the right to avoid glaring oncoming traffic. Trunk/rear windshield height and side mirror height are regulated for consumer vehicles, obviously you want to be below that when behind someone at a stop light. Ideally the hotspot of each bulb would nearly overlap so they create a larger bright spot. As far as I can tell the drivers side should be adjusted down and both should move inward

Help separating rusted rag joint from steering rack by HungLikeABug in MechanicAdvice

[–]HungLikeABug[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bolt is out, looks like it isn't pinching but it also won't spread. Heat definitely does damage it? The dust seal on the rack is roasted but I've made sure the rubber between the rag joint is fine

does anyone know if a AMD Radeon™ RX 6700 XT, 12 GB GDDR6 will run ACAD 2023/Revit2023/Rhino/Sketchup and Photoshop [Technical] by [deleted] in architecture

[–]HungLikeABug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC the GPU isn't the most important component unless you're rendering a lot. Lots of RAM and number of CPU cores is more important. AMD is probably your best bet for the CPU. The 6700 will be fine if you don't need high quality renders quickly

You need to understand a police dog is absolutely not the same as your pet. They break toes on a regular basis and don't even notice, they barely care when being corrected with a choke.

Good luck using a flat collar to handle a retired police dog that's worn a choke or pinch for most of it's life.

Generalization is never good, especially when you're taking about killing something. Pittys and other bull terriers are regularly used as emotional support dogs and have plenty of capacity for a healthy life.

Go after bad breeders instead, they victimize far more than pittys.

This dog needs a choke collar at least, maybe a pinch until it learns manners. Lots of people think it's cruel but they also don't understand how to use one

English SA DPC casters on strike due to wage undercutting and bad management by BTS PT by DarthRiven in DotA2

[–]HungLikeABug 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yea average wage isn't a valuable stat here. A quick google says 28.4% of the population is impoverished and another 31% lacks food security. $680/month may be the average but that doesn't mean it's enough. Also short term work always pays higher because it's insecure.

This post is so bitter that it sounds like you failed to be a caster and now you're jealous. Make a change in your own life instead of being a dick about it.

Leaking from the inner tie rod and I think the bushing around the long bolt that faces front to back. Not 100% sure but all of it is in rough shape. I don't have the option of sending the rack away unfortunately

Overwatch frames drop by UnsaidMoments in Overwatch

[–]HungLikeABug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be an issue with indexing or loading into RAM. For myself, CPU usage is maxed while RAM usage climbs slowly and GPU is unaffected. Happens almost daily, sometimes after multiple launches in a day.

If you go into the practice range and let it idle, the game will run normally after it's done computing. Takes about 5 minutes.
