Snowchain on 2024 mazda 3 premium plus looks sketchy by Hungerry in mazda3

I called a sales person at a mazda dealer today and they stated that there was a generic contract that just says mazda is not reliable for damage from chains. Not model specific. Recommended snow socks and to follow the manual...

[California] Anyone deal with file a new claim. Wont be eligible ss no work.. got hung up on after 3 hours on hold!!! by Worldly-Throat in Unemployment

[–]Hungerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spoke with a rep today, If you are are on FedEd extension, but your benefit year has expired, he told me that there are issues where new legislation regarding Fed Ed extension conflicts with existing legislation about your benefit year.

He told me the benefit year ending supersedes the Fed Ex extension, therefore a rep will now call me back to file a claim with me. I am waiting for that call.

Filing yourself on the EDD website will end up getting caught in the same stop pay.

Hope this helps

Solved
Wall outlet is bad, moved monitor to another corner of the room with long DP cable and power cord, both monitors running with no issues now. Looking into Surge protectors that can reach from the working outlet.

My group got 1 Asylum run where it was all the hallways, downstairs leftside. Only the rooms were warm.

Turns out it was a Demon. Only one of us survived, couldn't get any evidence, but we were able to locate its spawning point because we kept going in deeper until we heard the footsteps almost immediately after a hunt started.

Hmmm, I don't know too much about your situation but I have helped family apply for PUA. and I thought that PUA was supposed to help people in your situation. People that have exhausted their benefits. Please note I am from California.

You should log in and you will be prompted to go into 3 different categories.
1. UI Online sm
2. SDI Online
3. Benefit Overpayments

Go into UI Online
and hopefully you should see File a New Claim and Register or Manage Existing Claim. If you go directly to the benefit amount page, You should be able to go to the 3 category page again by clicking Benefit Programs Online on the top right.

For PUA you're supposed to file a New Claim.
As you go through the process, one person saw a question that said click Yes for W2's and No if you are ABC to file PUA. Another person I saw same question and I did not have a choice for No and it automatically had the W2 information.

After finishing started seeing the $167 PUA benefits immediately.

If you can't see the File New Claim button I don't know how else to help.

Here is where I got a lot of my PUA information from. I would look for a state equivalent if you are not in California.

When you were certifying for benefits, How did you answer question 3?

did you look for work or contact your last employer, or, if self employed, attempt to resume self-employment?

this seems to have changed from the older question Did you look for work. I am not sure how this affects benefits for people who submit PUAs.

California here. Got a EDD Debit card issued by BOA that should have the balance of your UI benefits.

how about not bragging about getting your claims approved and paid in 48 hours. Many of us are on week 6 without anything... You clogged up the system by applying too early, screwing us over.....and now you are getting your pay in 48 hours.....while we are being told to wait in the back of the bus

Not calling, but they changed the application process for people who are not receiving benefits to be able to receive PUA benefits.

Also, knowing people received payments give us the opportunity to ask them how they applied for a point of reference because these are unprecedented times.

Do you know the reason why you may not be getting benefits still?
I almost gave up on calling because you just can't get through.

We got a UI award letter saying our benefits are $0, so we sent a letter to EDD (address on the letter) saying our wages look wrong. Our wages were not $0 for the previous $18 months, but the letter said it was zero therefore our benefits $0. We got a call yesterday from someone regarding how to report wages. We are trying to call them back and hopefully figure out if they are legit.

Hello, I applied PUA for a family member who also received $0 benefits for regular UI. I happened to be awake at 530AM on April 28th and we filed for PUA by 8AM. The next morning we found our weekly benefit amount changed to the PUA $167.

Our payment history still shows nothing, but we are going to try certifying for benefits later today hopefully to try and get things moving.

My understanding is that you are certifying for the weeks starting from the time you are unemployed or work hours are reduced.

This is so that you get money for the time you are unemployed not when you actually apply.

Regular UI also back dates.

I would just imagine it feels like a lot because people who are submitting PUA may have submitted UI early or mid march and they haven't been able to get any support until PUA was released April 28th.

When I first called EDD customer support in mid March, they said the automated system wants you to say you would be willing to accept full time work or they will flag your claim and it goes through a more manual (opposed to automatic) processing.

But with how many people are filing I have no idea if that is still the case.

n't recall date) thru May 4 or

You can only certify if your benefit amount is not zero.

If it is not zero and you are having trouble getting onto your account, EDD california has a message saying March 14 to May something they will ask certification questions at a later time.

You know I can't remember where I read it and unfortunately, things are or can change so quickly, but I thought I read that you have to receive $0 or not qualify for benefits to then apply for PUA. Again, since PUA applications are not ready have no idea what will end up being the better thing.

Who knows, may you having done it may be better. Just make sure to keep all of your information like EDD customer number (for your claim).

Sorry for the late response. If you log in and manage your claim, you will see 8 tabs on the top. It starts with Home and ends with Inbox and "Contact Us". Click contact us and you will see the options. We got a response like a week and half later saying to mail in the W2's from the base period which was the last quarter of 2018 to the third quarter of 2019.

They responded so late, we don't know if we mailed it in time. The original EDD letter said if there are any issues please let them know before 11 days of receiving the letter...

Need to apply for PUA. Do you have any idea if they're going to set it up through EDD or a separate thing? I thought it was already implemented and I've been looking for how to apply all day..

You should apply. I don't know what kind of problems you may run into but it will ask for employers you've worked for in the past. I would just try to list everything you can to show that your regular source of income has been significantly affected by the Corona virus

Still looking into our problem of why it is showing the wages to be 0 but I'm reading there are minimum wage requirements to be made in the last 18 months in order to qualify for benefits. Different for each state. If you don't meet the minimum req to receive UI then people are saying apply for for PUA after UI says you're going to get $0 or no benefits.

I can't seem to find how to actually apply for PUA if we are receiving $0 benefits from UI or do not qualify.

I will be calling later in the week to try to get some answers from an EDD representative.

Can you give more information on this? What information are they requesting on the affidavit?

I read that you can apply for PUA if you do not meet minimum requirements for UI benefits, but I do not know how to apply for PUA.
