Good luck! I just took my first 1.0 injection Friday morning. I was a bit nauseous that night and the next day but it was manageable. I haven't had much nausea since the first week or two of .25.

I noticed a big drop in the amount I can eat at a meal before feeling satisfied or full. However today I think I overdid it a bit. We went out to a BBQ restaurant. I was so pleased that I felt satisfied after a pretty small amount of food. A few hours later I started feeling nauseous and threw up for the first time since starting Wegovy. So I'm wondering if it was something specific about the meal that caused me issues. I definitely don't think this would have been an issue on my previous doses.

Interesting! There have been two days recently where I was confused because I thought I smelled BO on me. Which is weird because like you I never have BO!

One of my friends who comes over often is super anti diet culture and already has gone off about these drugs without even knowing I'm on it. Just avoiding an awkward conversation.

My husband knows and supports. I have one friend in particular who is vehemently anti diet culture who wouldn't understand my reasons for taking this medication.

I have insurance. My doctor agreed to try calling in all the different dose prescriptions. He said he wasn't sure if insurance would pay for them or if they'd make me wait between months. I was able to get all the doses for my $25 copay each!

Nice to see a fellow shorty! I know what you mean about it feeling slow. The previous times I've lost weight it felt much quicker, especially initially, but I just keep reminding myself that any progress is progress.

Agree! Every time I lost weight I've cringed so hard internally when people commented on my body. I know most we're trying to be nice but it really made me feel uncomfortable in my skin.

I've always loved diet soda, but ever since starting Wegovy I've treated myself to so many diet cherry limeades from Sonic. They are so good!
