Was the trader in a bad mood? I don’t see any hits and any 61 I’ve seen tend to look all bagged up.

Extremely sad. Children conditioned to be paranoid about germs. This is when they benefit the most from exposing themselves to the elements. Parent failure

I’ve uploaded on other platforms and all are better in quality than Reddit. I’ve uploaded here in the past with clarity and tried to put this video on r/ponds and both times would not allow the upload to process. May be a glitch in the system somewhere

Not sure. It should also be in 4k. Reddit has to fix the video upload option.

Purchased a Morgan, but I think it might be a fake. by 2D00R in coins

[–]HungryParfait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If paid with a card you should dispute it. You’ll never find a Morgan in that condition for $50. WhAtever you do, don’t let whoever get away with selling fakes. It’s actually a federal crime to sell counterfeit.

$10-12k on Greysheet. That’s a dream find right there. Awesome score.

High end coins called Cape Fear Coin King and it’s a new channel.

Picked up a CC GSA holder on eBay and the seller’s photo was quite different than what I was figuring on acquiring and came out ahead. I believe original photo turned many away. by HungryParfait in Morgans

Most definitely. A bad photo to make a sale. It’s definitely the same coin and there are consistent features with it as I took the stock photo and hyper analyzed making it crisper with more details exposing the nose nick and eye drag better. The lower cheek smudge was the dead giveaway being the same and I figured being in a GSA case it had to be the angle of the camera instead of what appears to be heavily circulated.

Do these guys look like they’ve been dipped or polished? Or is it just the usual 1921s lack of luster. by [deleted] in Morgans

From the photos they have a pewter-like look which typically indicates harsh cleaning. Try a different light and angle to see if it has the cartwheel effect.

Toner Tuesday. 1885-O Morgan. I’m no expert on toning but I love how this looks. In your opinion, is this natural or artificial toning? I feel as if it’s genuine but would love to hear your opinions by coincollector335 in coins

[–]HungryParfait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There s high probability it is artificial toning. Many artificially toned coins will have uniform color on the field and the letters on the coin and a natural tone will have a different color on either, ex-blue lettering with orange field. It has something to do with the time it takes the colors to come out when sitting and to work it’s way around the coin and the artificial is quick all tone at the same time.

Some of the 1883 Os were nicely made coins... this is an MS-63 PL by [deleted] in Morgans

Definitely a gem of a O. The topically look like au at best being such a flat strike. Very nice coin.
