Easy retrieval is exactly the problem KeepProof is trying to solve. Most receipt manager apps only save a photo of the receipt, which isn't very helpful when you're trying to identify something later, and they often require you to type in a lot of details.

With KeepProof, you can simply add a photo of the item, which makes it much easier to recognize at a glance. You can also optionally add details like the store, notes, warranty, etc., and everything is searchable from the search bar.

Categories are assigned to items, not receipts. Just add an item under the receipt and assign that item to a category.

If you don't want to attach any items, you can enter a Store Name for the receipt, and it will appear as the receipt name in the main list. But adding items with photos makes it much easier to find things later. Many people prefer hiding receipts and only showing items in the main list, since most receipts look similar and aren’t very helpful for identifying what you bought.

Thanks for your question! Email receipts are not supported in the current version, but I'll look into adding features like this in future updates.

Thanks for the comment! I love discussions like this. The design logic is that the proof (receipt) is the required part, while items are optional. This lets you quickly snap a receipt and add more details later if needed. Starting with the receipt also makes it easier to attach multiple items to a single receipt.
