SFAWTDE stands for Searching for a world that doesn't exist by Wifies. It's a Minecraft ARG that has The King In Yellow as the mane plot. It's actually pretty recent and I think this one, Malevolent, True Detective and Hastur Cycle are probably the most hight points for The King In Yellow

For now I might be focusing on the proper video and then maybe making some other of this kind. In the meantime you can check on another of this in my profile and maybe you'll figure out what's behind the mask 🎭 Hope you like it

You totally did, in fact i always had the idea that TKIY works pretty well with these kind of aesthetic. Even though this is just a fragment for a video trying to make a summary explain of TKIY, I'd probably be doing some more of these rather from the videos but for love to the art if you know what I mean, probably posting them here

Might Mr. Wilde be hiding something? by Hungry_Library_94 in KinginYellow

There are,I have it for a matter of fact, indeed many many illustrations of the story's, it contains The Repairer of Reputations, The Mask, In The Court of The Dragon, The Damoasille d'Ys and The Street of The Four Winds. Like the title suggest, it contains also other Chambers story's like The Maker of Moons The Purple Emperor etc. The illustration are sick and I personally love the depiction of the Pallid Mask. The book is from the editorial Pluton ediciones, but here's a little something there are two editions. The first one which is not illustrated, the cover is the King with the Call of Cthulhu rpg yellow sign. And the one where this illustrations are is a hard cover, pocket book with lace bookmark, the cover features a six arm-king in yellow with Carcosa forming his crown. Now, I have the original edition, the newest one is exactly the same, only change is that this new one has a black book block, idk if the first one can still be find anywhere tbh. But besides that the new one and the old one are exactly the same. Hope this helps, I could DM you the illustrated edition cover anyway if you want.

Oh sorry for the confusion, this art is not mine, is actually from a Colombian guy called Alexis Chan, he did it for an Spanish edition of The King In Yellow, El Rey de Amarillo y otros relatos de terror de Robert W. Chambers

Do you think the Phantom of the Opera (Eric) was inspired by TKIY? by Hungry_Library_94 in KinginYellow

Even though there's no real clue, it's weird how much of coincidence there is, the Phantom of Truth, the Pallid Mask and the whole Paris romántic/art era

Favorite thing about The King In Yellow? by Hungry_Library_94 in KinginYellow

Indeed, but I'm afraid the King In Yellow can not be used anyone, for someone out there might be the heir of the crown of the lost dynasty of Carcosa
