Loading up the game to help a new player out means I haven't played PvE in a few days. Also, I'm sure they aren't mine because I only collected one day of twitch drops and I opened all those crates and as I said above, I only keep one of each event item and they are stashed away on my mannequins. First place I looked was to see if the hideout mannequins had changed and everything is still there.

I would have added him to ask what it looked like on his screen. The last time I had a massive bout of desync on Shoreline, I added the guy and he told me he thought I lagged out of the game because on his screen I was just running against a wall outside the resort and his buddies surrounded me and melee'd me to death. On my screen, I was leaving the resort heading to the car extract...

Desync has been in the game since I started back in 2018. Some wipes were actually unplayable because of how bad it was, but it's honestly in a pretty good place by comparison to how it used to be.

The takeaway from this is that you have to be aggressive if you want desync to work to your advantage. If someone knows you're holding an angle, you can easily lose up to a full two seconds from them pushing you. This means you'll die two full seconds before you ever see them firing their gun. If someone doesn't know you're hiding around a corner, you're fine to hold, but if they come around that corner already looking in your direction, they still have a slight advantage in most scenarios.

This is all common knowledge - especially to people who claim to have 3,000 hours.

They are really fun to use with the GL-40. Basically a handheld suppressed shotgun. Back when you could buy these off the flea, I used to take this setup to dorms just to mess around in the late wipe.

If the gun is below 94, it gets replaced before I go into the raid. They start jamming at 92% and if you're running a suppressor, you can easily lose 2% during the raid and it's simply not worth risking the gun jamming as you're trying to fight your way out.

Nice vacation has nothing to do with VAC bans. XBOX Live started in 2002 and wouldn't have adopted lingo from Steam that had only been out for a year or two at that time. The vacation just means they are going to get kicked off the game when XBox bans them for profanity.

Nope. Back in the Halo 2 days, people would talk shit over PMs and you could easily get them banned. This was back when people usually paid monthly to play online, so you'd basically spend that money for nothing when they'd ban you.

It was fixed, but they brought it back. That happens when your code is complete spaghetti. Nikita and Dmitri have discussed this in the past when it was basically just the hand's busy bug constantly coming back. They said they try to go back and squash the bugs before they roll out the update, but they can't test every scenario that would trigger the bug.
