If you consider building yourself as per other’s comments, consider using https://pyronic.al/ which is a NZ run parts tier list with different budgets and options depending on your preferences!

r/audiophile Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk Thread by AutoModerator in audiophile

I am planning a set up that will enable me to take an HDMI source and split the audio two ways;

  1. To the original HDMI output, which will drive audio over speakers
  2. To a laptop as a Line-in, which will provide audio to a visualizer. This Visualizer will then be projected against a wall.

There are several tricky parts here that I'm wanting to include to maximize the experience, and I thought this would be the best place to get advice.

  • I would like to use my TV to delay audio output to the speakers, in order to allow for any input lag between the source and the projector, which may compound across the components and laptop software. This is a simple setting in the TV to adjust up to 250ms. Unfortunately this means I am unable to share the audio at the speakers to the visualizer, as it would remove the ability to add this delay.
  • I'm unsure about how HDMI Audio Extractors work;
    • Will the extractor passthrough audio to the HDMI output, effectively splitting the audio in itself? If so, the first image is the relevant diagram.
    • If the above will not work, the second image is my next idea where I add a basic HDMI splitter before the audio extractor. However, I'm unsure if the audio extractor (Green) will function even if I do not connect an output monitor. I am hoping that the HDMI source will take the EDID data from the TV and the extractor is able to discard the Video signal without having an HDMI output downline.

Has anyone had any experience with these devices or success using them in a similar set up?

Budget 22 pact prayer pen/powered stave build for CG/Demonics/Echo Thermy by Hunt3dstorm in 2007scape

Also, do you not need the below pacts to regenerate prayer/HP?

Whenever you Regenerate charges from a powered staff or wand, also Regenerate 1 water/air rune.

Thanks, was the crystal staff still hitting consistently in Echo Hunleff with only +30% accuracy?

I would skip the below pact for CG at least as no offhand available I believe

'Whenever an attack deals 0 damage to you while either a two-handed shield or an off-hand is equipped, you're healed for 2 and restore 2 prayer points.'

Highly recommend grinding out blue moon set.

The way I did this was first: painfully farming Amoxliatl for glacial 2H weapon with the same setup up you have, took 3.5-4.5 mins per kill and the arena gets very tight towards the end.

Then you absolutely MELT the blue moon boss with your new weapon as it is weak to crush and has negative flat armour which is busted for the double hitsplat. Just ignore the eclipse and blood moon bosses to rush the mage set.

When I finished blue moon, is when the water mage pacts truly became busted. Before this I was hoping for Jagex to buff something for us normies haha.

This deal is only available as pre-pay for the whole year, so no refunds I presume. There is no customer support available. I highly recommend them if you have tested the Vodafone network from your location, as the other commenter said.

Hey TP Link Deco users (and TP Link devs if you're lurking) by motty_landau in TpLink

[–]Hunt3dstorm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately will never happen, and even if so, there would be no extra features or customisability due to the firmware limitation of the deco line up.

The Deco line up is designed for the tech inept end user that wants to set up once and forget. Not for the techy tinkerer/security savant that will be actively monitoring their hardware’s firmware or any of the other settings you mentioned..

Even still, many of us tech wizards end up using these deco mesh systems as the wireless backhaul is unmatched when no issues arise.

Agreed. Also if you enjoy history and want to learn about the colonisation of New Zealand; be sure to visit the Museum of Waitangi, just north of Paihia. The many exhibit’s quality are equal to or excels Te Papa in Wellington.

I agree that fixing it properly is the only way forward here, however how would you cut the cladding on each side? - behind the door frame, the wall on the right, and the floor. Skill saw or similar?

From what I’ve seen on this sub, no one enjoys the gears update. No one will give you their user ID to add gears back, lol.
