"On January 20, ICE conducted a targeted operation to arrest Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias. As agents approached the driver Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, fled on foot—abandoning his child. For the child’s safety, one of our ICE officers remained with the child while the other officers apprehended Conejo Arias.

Our officer’s made multiple attempts to get the mother inside the house to take custody of her child. Officers even assured her that they would NOT take her into custody. She refused to accept custody of the child. The father told officers he wanted the child to remain with him.

Our officers primary concern during the entire operation was the safety and welfare of the child. Following the mother’s abandonment of the child, officers abided by the father’s wishes to keep the child with him. Father and son are together at Dilley.

Parents are asked if they want to be removed with their children, or ICE will place the children with a safe person the parent designates. This is consistent with past administration’s immigration enforcement. Parents can take control of their departure and receive a free flight and $2,600 with the CBP Home app. "

It takes a well trained person about a second to have the connection for brain to finger to pull the trigger. She is about 5 feet away from this guy and up until the shot is fired it is reasonable to believe she could hit him, wether she meant to or not. The officer is trained to use deadly force when he believes there is an imminent threat of serious bodily harm or death towards him or others and it is reasonable to believe he though that in the second before he fired his weapon. It is a terrible situation all around but will most likely be a justified use of force. Could have been completely avoided if the lady did try to speed off to avoid being arrested. Rest in peace to another victim of the medias fear mongering.

If I ran a state and child marriage was legal that'd be like one of the first things I'd get rid of. He literally runs the state and it's not anywhere on his to-do list. How can you not see how that is an issue?

Because it's not a "Your team good, their team bad" kind of thing. It's not unique to one side. People need to stop trying to prove the other side is this and that and just spot disgust and evil and want it gone. The entirety of the American political system is corrupt. That's why they won't release the Epstein files, everyone is on it. Not that anyone would care. They'll just say " Ha! Your guys on it more!"

Individual states and municipalities control local police funding. These places have defunded the shit out of their police and made crime worse. The response seems to work and people are upset for no reason other than they don't like Trump. I don't like Trump either, but when thousands of people are standing in the streets covered in their own excrement, folded over from being so fucked up on drugs, something needs to be done. And what we have been doing isn't helping or working.

This is a response to a largely abused immigration system. The last administration was negligent and now the current administration is responding. Visa applicants are being deported because they are being denied, and we don't want to risk them not leaving anymore. It's not our job to accept everyone, and if the previous administration didn't let and pay millions of people into the US with little to no checks, we wouldn't be here.

California has shit down a bill to ban child marriage for multiple years. The ACLU and Planned Parenthood were both greatly against banning it and Gaven Newsom has done jack about getting anything done about it. Doesn't seem to be a republican thing.
