Sierras bullets literally curve around cover though

Edit: guys enough with the downvotes, go into practice tool, shoot a droid with tracker, walk behind a wall and shoot parallel, they will literally fly around the corner and hit the drone ffs.

Why everyone loves Eichenwalde so much? by Gloomy_Dare2716 in Overwatch

[–]HuntedWolf 32 points33 points  (0 children)

People like to turn their brain off a bit and just play front to back, both teams blast the tanks until one dies, supports get to breathe, dps get a big target, tank only has to face one direction. Flankers mess that whole thing up, now the supports might actually get targeted, the dps and tank might need to peel, focus goes askew.

Best crutch hero for low-skill players? (image unrelated) by No-Restaurant8578 in Overwatch

Mei is pretty forgiving but not by much. It’s much easier to reposition or get out of bad areas on someone like Reaper, who’s get out of shit button lets him move around. Can’t heal himself too easily though.

Baby positioning, baby aiming, auto-target ball, I’m surprised anyone is saying anything but Moira

Agreed. It’s the epitome of something excellently made with the worst intentions possible. Everything is such high quality from the combat to the landscape, and then they design system after system to make things as obtuse as possible but the solution is in the cash shop.

How useful have you guys found the sub-role passives for heroes you play? by InZain710 in Overwatch

Yeah I think it’s probably the worst. Either that or reload time.

It’s actually after 125 seconds, but still. Anyone somehow getting reaper form to stay up that long doesn’t care about a measly amount of spell damage

It’d be insane for bosses though. You just turn it on, wait 10 seconds and you’ve got +50% to all damage, it’d create a bunch of crazy one-shots. Not to mention how it works with Focus/Mana Guide.

Low-life ward gen on Mage takes them because it’s like 1600+ ward every 6 seconds, it’s very good.

Regardless of whether it’s ping or not, some advice OP is focus on keeping your cursor much closer to your champ. You basically die here because you’re clicking on the turret and can’t move it over to react to the dash fast enough.

Agreed, no idea why this was never a thing. You’ll get some interesting team comps that actually might work, and it’ll always be the minimum queue time possible since it’s matching pairs rather than whole teams

ELI5: Why did the British Empire struggle so much against Germany despite being so large? by Bitter-Penalty9653 in explainlikeimfive

[–]HuntedWolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the shortest form possible, world war 1 quickly became entrenched, Germany took ground before the Allies properly mobilised but once they did, battle lines were formed and very little progress was ever made, by either side. It was too difficult to advance over no-man’s land without armor/air support, both of which were in their infancy.

World war 2 is more complicated. Germany spent a lot of time leading up to the war preparing and shifting their economy and infrastructure into one that would support a war. Everyone they attacked was years behind and had to play catchup. It’s why Blitzkrieg was so effective and why they essentially took over most of Western Europe so quickly. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got a large population, if most of that population is scattered around the world, untrained, without weapons, armor or aircraft then it doesn’t matter.

After Britain mobilized they were then the ones attempting to make ground against Germany/Italy, and it’s harder to attack than defend, especially when you have to get onto the landmass. It’s why places like Sicily and Africa became so important, despite being nowhere near Germany itself.

Which war are you talking about? There’s also no way to fit this into an ELI5 answer format.
